So some lessons learned.

1) Avoid shopping centers on a Sat. as a meeting place.
2) If the plan is to depart at 1:30 ...don't leave at 1:05
3) Hand out instruction maps to the out of towners.
4) The map should include the address of the final distination.
5) Pick a launch point with as few traffic lights as possible to avoid breaking up the group before it gets on the open road.
