For the exhaust, its really difficult to find an exhaust you are going to like sound wise by listening to videos online. I would suggest the Corsa for anyone with the Camaro due to the great HP gain, wide open sound and no drone inside the car for daily use.

The cars that we have completed have been done in various configurations. We do not have sound clips of all the setups we have done.

What part of SoMD are you in? If you have any more questions, feel free to call us directly at 979-885-1300

Thanks
James
James,
You are wonderful to respond so quickly. I'm not in need of any more HP since I have 426hp already - I won't be racing this car - just want the HPs when I need 'em getting in and out of traffic and travelling the Washington Beltway - LOL. I am in LaPlata/Waldorf area of SoMD.

What do you think about the Borla Catback and/or the SLP Loudmouth? Those are 2 that I hear a lot about. I had Flowmasters on my 2002 Z-28 Camaro, and liked it pretty much - especially the deep throaty sound - but wanted a little more LOUD this time around with my 2010 2SS. Deep and loud is what I'm looking for.

Thanks again,
Karen

Karen... 426 is alot of HP but there is always room for more! I dont think you need even 426 to get around the 495 haha No more tornados in LaPlata right? Wow that was a horrific time.

At Hennessey Performance, we offer our customers the options of the Corsa and Magneflow. We have had too many customers get other systems and complain of the interior drone within the vehicle. I have heard those systems and if you want it deep and LOUD, my suggestion is the Borla. However if you are driving the car everyday and dont want to hear the loud while your sitting in traffic for 2 hours or on a road trip, get a Corsa.

Thanks again James for responding. Are you originally from SoMD? Most ppl don't remember "The Tornado" unless they lived through it. I think my 426 hp will adequately get me around the beltway as well as outrun any potential tornadoes! haha

Magnaflow is the other exhaust I have heard a lot about and you are probably right about the drone inside the car - I don't want to sound like the thugs who sit in traffic with their stereos up full blast b/c they can't hear it over their beehive pipes. haha. What do you think about the stock exhaust on the 2SS? If it rumbles when it's sitting idle, I may be happy with that, but if not . . . I'll be calling you to place an order.

haha I just giving you a little trip down memory lane. Despite being in Texas now, I am from Calvert and was part of the Search and Recovery team during that Tornado. Luckily no one was lost from the Tornado except the 1 couple. Horrific event though.

The stock exhaust on the SS is very weak and anyone with one will agree! Thats the #1 thing people tell me about the car if they have a Manual transmission car... If its an automatic they talk about the shifting then the sound of the exhaust We'll get you set up as we have both of the systems instock.

Thanks
James

i have borla on my ss. it sounds SICK! hennessey deals corsa thats why they refer you to them. but borla is top notch. corsa , to me, is very overpriced. they are relatively close to where i live and i just could see spending almost 1500 for their setup when i got borla for 1200.

Our comments are based off our experience and knowledge of the products after they are installed. As a company we do offer Borla, Magnaflow and Corsa. We are going to use our experience with these vehicles to advise our customers based off what they are looking for!

Hi guys, it's been a while since we last updated our LS9-powered HPE700 Camaro. It's been a lot of work to sort out all of the electronics, etc. Thankfully we have gotten over all of those hurdles now. So here is some pretty good news.

Here are some of our first baseline chassis dyno numbers from our Dynojet dyno. Power was made on 93 octane pump fuel and the rear wheel power numbers are SAE. The engine has less than 20 miles on it.

645 rear wheel hp
653 rear wheel torque

I drove the car briefly today and you can really feel the massive torque down low as well as the huge surge of power on the big end. This motor feels like a massive big block down low and is also a screamer in the mid-range and higher rpm. It just feels incredible in the new Camaro. Words cannot describe how good this car is.

What are the numbers with the variation of The air intake system?
Does the system require a tune ?
Are the numbers with a tune?

Kinda weird how this all disappeared for two months, now it's magically back! Smells like trouble.
