Honestly didn't notice.
Lightning hit last Wednesday during a fierce storm and knocked my computer modem card out , so I was dead in the water until noon today. Glad you got the site running again.

Many times when an Apache webserver (running FreeBSD, Linux or Unix) is hacked, the easiest recourse is to change the IP address, extract your latest data backup and allow this change to propagate across internet DNS servers. This causes the site’s down time we all experienced.
Now when the web site is up and functioning again, many of our bookmarks will not work (due to our security settings) because most operating systems and DNS clients automatically cache IP Addresses and other DNS results, this is done in order to speed up subsequent requests to the same hostname (camaro5.com). In our case, the old camaro5.com IP address was cached and therefore needs to be cleared from the cache in order for you to communicate with the new host (new IP) correctly. Depending on your security settings, you may just need to refresh the page and this will work. All major operating systems allow you to force this DNS Flush process. Windows 98/NT/200 and XP - Flushing the DNS on Windows is an easy process, outlined below is the steps that should be run if you wish to clear your DNS cache. 1. Open up a command prompt (Start > Run > cmd.exe > OK). 2. Type in the command ipconfig /flushdns Windows Vista/Windows7 - Flushing DNS on newer versions of Windows is almost as easy as the earlier versions but due to Microsofts security additions you must run the command prompt with administrator privileges. 1. Click the start button and navigate to the command prompt (Start > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt) 2. Make sure that you right click on the command prompt application and choose "Run as Administrator" 3. Type in the command ipconfig /flushdns An even easier way is to Google the site and re-save the new bookmark (like many of you have already done). Google results will point to the new site’s IP and re-cache that value. Hope this helps clear the confusion somewhat |
