but I'll just add to your comment about the paint...Does anyone actually think that GM is going to do a crappy paint job??? The Camaro has been a long time in the making...do we really think that GM's going to screw that up??? If we hadn't been reminded over and over and OVER again about the headlights...MAYBE, just MAAAAYBE we could worry about them. But thank the Lord that they are :notheadlights: Anyway, these shots are of the pre-pros...let's not get bent out of shape over it...

orange peel paint, this is the "orange peel" effect you see on some cars paint. Looks like the peel of an orange. -versus a smooth flat paint, orange peel doesn't look as nice. YES, i've seen many a production car with orange peel paint on the road. -And yes, GM has created cars w/ orange peel paint. Look for it, you'll notice it on some cars.

Sorry bout the Challenger comment, -check out the new Autoweek cover, the challenger looks pretty bad in my opinion. I am just hoping that the Camaro will look as mean.

keep reading the thread. You'll see that the orange peel question has already been answered many times over. Its a test mule. Paint was almost an afterthought. It was a quick cheap job because this thing will just be beat on. Sorry to beat a horse so obviously dead, but really, we've had both these things addressed many many many times. A cursory glance at the whole thread would show that.

I understand that its a pain for you to read through a couple hundred posts but you also see how quickly we can get annoyed when people don't read the thread. We hear a similar set of complaints every time we see a new spyshot. But on the first page there was a post from a GM employee who first brought up the issue of the paint, though it wasn't really explained until a fair number of posts later. Also on the first page was Dragoneyes signature which addressed the headlights. None of us want you to be unwelcome, and the negativity wasn't addressed at you specifically, it was to somone who didn't read the thread. It could have happened to anyone, you were just unfortunate. I know its never going to happen again with you, but there will proabably be another who does it in either this thread or some other one. And when it happens, you can be the one who flips out at the new guy.

the orange peel affect is from the clear. not the paint. most times can be buffed out to hide it more.

We don't know that yet, The lights aren't final, tail lights included.... They will be one of the last things to be added to the mules if at all.

Having said that I wasn't aware that there was any talk about making them LED's... I could be wrong.

^^^^^ ive had that happen before. it was actually a McDonalds and they didnt take credit card. i thought that was a little out dated.
