i edited the original post where i forgot to paste it..sorry about that..and thanks junkie. i can only do as much as all the participants will do for themselves.lol.i think a 2010 camaro parade to the event would be the best convoy tactic to use..as far as i can tell everyone is leaving at different times.so getting together an hour before the event and convoy a few miles to the event would not only be fun for us but bystanders and kids. thats what im trying to accomplish now instead of getting all the northerns to drive 10hrs together..LOL..that would be a mess them trying to keep up with me going 100mph.

michales maro blocked several rooms for us at both the fairfield and the marriot. use promo code "camaro5" when reserving..if you wish to get the discounts for our group code then you must call the front desk..DO NOT ORDER OR RESERVE ONLINE!!! call to get the promo. we are getting a huge discount..i know i just stayed at a marriot last week in a king bed and it cost over $200 for one night..so be sure to bag this up..my parents are dying to come so i may get a suit for me for $99 and get them a king..LOL..so reserve at either the marriot or the fairfield now while rooms are available. also if anyone else can capture some rooms at another hotel please list the name number and promo code we need to use..the more help we can get the easier it will be for traveling camaro owners.

that way they can worry about getting to the event safe rather than where they are going to stay and if they can find a room..there are several events going on from basketball tournaments to high school reunions. so if you guys can put some rooms up for us please let us know..im sure it would be very easy for some locals to help out as well..so if you can please list the info..thanks..

I just reserved 1 suit and 1 king at the Fairfield..they are incredibley nice and helpful. ask for Teresa she works from 3-11 on weekdays mon-fri. she is extremely helpful and tried as much as she could to get as much of a discount as she could..remember though when reserving to tell them you have a reservation promo code. "camaro5" if its not teresa then they may not know what you are talking about when you call unless you tell them to type that code in..if it is teresa tell her that Timmy Estep had you call for the camaro event and use promo code "camaro5" that michales maro made for us..she said she would be "happier than can be to help us out".

I would love to come. I plan on trailering the Camaro down there with my motorhome and then leave my motorhome down there in the area for the winter and drive the Camaro back to Chicago. ok can anyone post a good meeting place for us to meet at about an hour or so before the event is to take place..we have a thread about a convoy from the upperstates to the event but many are leaving on different days..what we were talking about however is to get every single person that is planning on attending to meet up at a certain parking lot or huge paved area so that we can line up and drive for a few miles in a kind of parade fashion.

we think that this would be a great oppurtunity for some press for MTI and the event as well as an incredibly rare "once in a lifetime" oppurtunity to drive with more 2010 camaros than ever before. so please list any good meeting spots as well as an address or closest Point Of Interest for those of us that have GPS in our cars..right now im thinking about the area near the Marriot or the Fairfield Inn due to the fact that many of us are staying in or near these two hotels..so if anyone would rather meet somewhere else other than these two hotel parking lots or if you have a better place to meet either post it here or PM me directly. we would really like to have a local 2010 camaro owner to lead the convoy so that they can drive us around a bit for a few miles 5-10 so that bystanders can take pictures and kids can see all these cars at once. thanks guys. sorry to keep posting on this thread..LOL.
