Maggie warranty question

Hey Rick & Andy

If I decide to have you install the TVS2300 will your custom tune void the additional 3/36 warranty available from Magnacharger? I have been told that unless you put on the tune that is sent with the charger that they will not honor the additional 3/36 powertrain.

Thanks JP

I had Livernois do my car and I'll tell you what, they did great work and the performance is awesome!!!!! As someone said before, you will be looking for a new set of tires soon after you get you baby back. I had to put mine up for the winter with just under 1000 miles and before I took her to Livernois she would hardly turn the tires and that was with every thing off, now she feels like she is on ice from the start. Spins the tires all the way into second gear. Probably a good thing she is put away, I need to build up my money base for the new tires I will be needing next summer. GREAT JOB RICK, I know I've said this before but you guys are the best!

The 3/36k warranty Magnacharger offers would not be able to be lumped with anything other than a cat-back exhaust unfortunately. However, I also want to mention that no Magnacharged cars, regardless of make/model/boost level have ever had any failures on any of our builds… And even at that, the Magnacharger Warranty covers X amount of dollars towards the repair, it is not like the factory warranty where it covers 100% of the cost.

I am not really sure what you are saying regarding the warranty in regards to the tune question?

Is this warranty something that is even worth it if I have Livernois do my build since you guarantee and stand behind your work anyway along with the success your shop has had with these chargers? And I do believe the Magnacharger unit comes with a one year parts warranty correct?

I realize it is only and additional $200 but I thought it would provide me some level of security for worst case scenario situation.

Anyway thanks for the feedback as always and to this day I have never heard anyone with a negative word regarding the work done at your shop and hope to work with you guys soon regarding my build.

Thanks JP

Basically what I was saying is, no, you can't have the Magnacharger warranty and do further upgrades. No dyno tuning, no smaller pulley, no headers, no CAI. The supercharger warranty itself is not effected.

If it were my own car, I would save the $200...
