I hope he had good insurance. They'll be paying for the bank sign, the other couple's truck and the Super Snake. That's a lot of money they're about to pay. I'm sure he will be dropped too.

"BORING" Seriously off base with that comment. When was the last time you personally got to see the most expensive mustang destroyed in under 2 seconds???????? Far from boring. Yes i was there. Also making it from Cheyenne to Laramie in under 30 minutes was far from boring as well. See the regional post for Wyoming to see other photos.

Driving like that you have no room to talk about the Mustang crash. Seems like you were also driving like an idiot too.

Unfortunately, the insurance company will only pay up to the limits of the driver's policy. They won't pay a dime more. And they will fight tooth and nail to keep from doing that.

Prior to the lawsuit being filed, the attorney representing the couple who got hit, will have the driver's assets investigated to see if he has any that can be legally acquired. Every state's laws are different but I'm pretty sure you can't take a person's house and car. I hope his policy's limits cover the damage done because if not, they could go after his assets.

Everyone should reevaluate your insurance policies to make sure you have enough coverage in case you get hit by someone who is under insured and to make sure you have enough coverage to protect your assets. For instance, if you get hit by someone who only has 25/25/50 coverage, but your medical bills are over 25k, you are screwed. Because the most you are going to get from his insurance is the 25k. And if you hire an attorney to get that money, he's going to get between 30-40% of that plus expenses.

Maybe you should show us how to put on a "real" car show then. I’m sure you should have no problem getting at least 30 2010 camaros together along with a bunch of Gen 1, 2, 3 and 4s.

Your just as much an idiot for making such an ignorant comment!

In no way are we being to harsh. This guy may not have intended to head on collide with elderly couple in the pickup truck, BUT he had every intention on showing off in front of all of us. I could give a rats A$$ about his car, having to deal with the cops or the courts. The bottom line is, he almost killed to innocent people because he was trying to show off and not knowing his own limitations!
He probably wont spend time in jail, but he certainly deserves to have his pocket book lightened a bit!

Lose your parents and inlaws in one accident to an idiot speeding that shouldn't have had his license and you will be chanting for jail time too! I hate stupid drivers. You want to show off...take it to the track!
