All but the bottom front 2 screws but you can drill 2 holes in them to make them work.

Wheel wells won't do you any good for stock bumper.

They are vented though right?

Most of the aero lies within the lower bumper and hoodcombo the wheel wells only allow for brake cooling and the radiator duct and under belly act to direct air properly out the hoodfrom the bumper for downforce

I was told those ducts were put in specifically for an issue the front tires have building up air at speed, something I've experienced. I have a splitter and underbody tray.

I've hear something similar, not sure exactly what the cure might be.

Just to be clear, the ZL1 nose (splitter), hood and under-tray may together create a small amout of actual downforce at racing speeds but the biggest gain in aero performance is reducing lift by venting the huge volume of air from the radiator somewhere other than underneath the chassis. An under-tray alone is even worse restricting flow through the radiator and causing drag by limiting the area where air can exit the engine compartment. The "ducting" in the bumper is for brake cooling along with some of the air from under the splitter (both circled in pink). The small air dam circled in green directs air around the outside of the tire and I suspect is far more effective in not defeating the air ducted toward the brakes than any "air build up" in front of the tire at on or off track speeds. Otherwise the under-tray does two things: provides a straight, smooth path for air to follow under the otherwise "dirty" engine compartment and has NACA ducts at the rear (circle in yellow) that draw some of that air up into the transmission/exhaust tunnel to aid cooling.

There's a great video on the Chevy site with both wind tunnel footage and computational hydrodynamics illustrations all being commented on by one of the engineers.

Perfect, thanks! Very informative.

So am I to understand that adding the undertray may be counter-productive? And the ZL1 wheel-wells are necessary to keep airflow positive, correct?

Yes, the undertray without some alternate extractor is bad (excess drag & reduced cooling effect).

The ZL1 wheel-wells have part of the brake duct system molded in but I'm not sure what you mean by them being "necessary to keep the airflow positive."

Let me rephrase. Will using my SS wheel-wells obstruct airflow without modification?
