Thanks, have been thinking about replacing mine, but didn't want to lose either, especially the steering wheel controls

Traded my 14 2LT in for a 17 ZL1 (Black)!!!!
So far it doesn't seem any faster than the 6 cylinder.
I guess you have to give it some pedal? 20mpg avg so far.
Will run with a little break in and then find out. I'm not a big believer in strict break in. A little gas here or there ain't gonna hurt a thing.

I added a support bar and smooth covers.
Have not decided what to do with bar yet. Dang the ends are very rough.

Thanks

I replaced my 2012 factory stereo and did lose the HUD stereo display. Not the HUD itself, but the stereo info displayed on it. I have a Scosche not a Metra kit, but I'm pretty sure the HUD info comes from the factory head unit and will be lost when replacing with an aftermarket unit. I was able to retain my steering wheel controls though.

HUH!!!!! How i s possible to go from a 14LT to 17ZL1 and say you feel no difference? More than double the horsepower there(312>650). If your content with the six banger I'll take your ZL1 off your hands! LOL!

Do i need to strip this caliper amd start all over now? And what is the best clear coat to cover them wih now?

Thats too bad but it looks like a complete do-over now. I had great success with VHT engine block paint(Canadian Tire). It has lasted me 3 years so far and still looks new.

I found out today that if you give it more throttle it does go a little quicker.

Just keep it under the 4500RPMs.

Yes, but color-matched paint for the ABM and stripes. Detail lettering was done with a brush. Thanks!

Crazy how the Cyber Gray Metallic always looks blue-ish when photographed.

All the pics of my car look the same blue-ish shade. But in person, gray...Cyber Gray baby!!! Awww Yeaaaaah!
