Congrats on the new car, very nice! It will be great to check her out up close when you're able to meet up with us.

Said it was OK to drive until then. Oh Well.
Sorry dude, it sucks they couldn't take care of it right away. I feel your pain... I'm surprised it will take them so long to get the part in. What happened to overnighting the part?

Who knows. Since there is a TSB out on the porosity of the block where the gasket seals, you would think they would have the parts in stock. Will just have to wait for the phone call that the part is in. Bad part is that they have to drop the front suspension to change the oil pan gasket. Poor design if you ask me.

Wow, I didn't realize it was that hard to get to. I wouldn't wait for their call, I had a part come in and wasn't contacted about it. I called them a couple of weeks later and found out it was sitting there waiting on me. Remember, their parts department isn't as good as their maintenance department.

I think that having parts ordered for an open RO# is a little different then just ordering a part from the parts dept. Hopefully anyway.

If you'd like a Camaro that sits as high as a four wheel drive truck, they could change the design to be able to remove the oil pan without dropping the suspension or lifting the engine. Come on, get realistic.

I'll be at SIR. Lots of other 4-door Camaros there too (G8s that is...). Come on down.

G8 might be on the holden chassis and have an LS3, but that's where the similarity ends. Don't even call it a 4 door Camaro!!
