Over on the 'ZL1 Registry . com' web site, they show 2 with numbers before yours, but not by much.

That's where my front plate is ... trunk ... until johnnie law says other wise!

That is a cool color!! Congratulations
Yes, us tall guys fit ok in these cars ..just the helmet hits a little!

They gave me the choice to mount the license plate on the front. But since it's required by law in Wisconsin, and I didn't want to give the smokies an excuse to pull me over, I said "Mount it!"

Front License Plate

Having purchased my first SS/RS from Broadway Chevrolet in 2010, I was pretty sure they would not put the holder on unless the new owner requested it. I don't blame you for putting it on at all. I had reservations about not putting it on my car. But because I owned a '69 Corvette for many years, and drove it without the front plate, and never got stopped for it, I figured I'd take my chances with my new ZL1. Hope it won't come back to bite me in the *** in the end.

Enjoy the ride!!

Does the production number reset to zero at the start of each model year, or does it continue on from the last production number of the previous year? I've heard both stories.

Yes, the production #'s refresh for each MY for the ZL1's anything else somebody tells you is

On another note, there are availabe options to have avoided putting that horrid front license plate bracket on your car. One of them is forum sponsor JacFab. Here is a link:

Haha I know right!? I'll be home May 1st. Coming back to Afghanistan on June 15th.

45 days to spend time with the wife, my 1 year old son, and my car.

I think I can get 1500 miles in 45 days on the ZL1.

(The wife said for every mile I put on the car, I have to put on her)
