I put one on mine and I like it. It looked cleaner than the other two I have seen in person. Not overly difficult to install. All parts needed included. I am still under 1500 miles so I haven't really hammered it to see if it made any difference, however when you take off the factory airbox and see how restrictive the air inlet it you can't believe that it only adds 18 hp.

I used Scott at Extreme Clear Bras 303-520-5566. I was really hesitant to do clearbra. Seems like so many have problems with installation and even though 3M is the toughest material, it seems to vary in how much orange peal it has. I used a newer material "Nanofusion" by Avery. It installs much better on our bumpers (much less stretch marks) and much flatter (not alot of orange peal look). 3M is definitely the toughest at 8 mil thick, where nanofusion is 6 mil. I used nanofusion 24" up the hood, a-pillars, 10" beyond top of windshield, rear spoiler, front of 1/4 panels, mirrors. Then used the 3M on the lower stuff - front splitter, rocker panels, behind rear wheels, and had to use on the gill area (stainless gills wouldn't adhere to nanofusion.....too slippery!.... my help in bug removal too). My car is always garaged when not in use and I try to not follow cars close. So having the toughest material wasn't my biggest concern, it was more a balance of paint protection and looks. This is my 1st clearbra, so can't speak for quality of Len Lyall. So far I've been real impressed with the nanofusion and have had many compliments on it. Good luck with decision.

Just saw the post.... didn't read through all of em yesterday. I'll see if I can put car back together real quick and clean up. Was looking for route to run AFR sensor, PLX device and Ipod gauge setup. Sounds fun.

Congrats to Garth and Sheri for winning a plaque at the Davidson-Gebhardt auto show today!

Nice meeting you both, Tom and his son Eric, and seeing Ted T.

I think its time to plan a meet+greet+canyon run in the Ft Collins/Loveland/Longmont area.

How about the WY show, any good stories? Did a 1985 Monte Carlo SS win best in show??
Attached my 2 favorite pics. The second one my car's a bit blurry. They were able to catch clear pics of the other cars, so I'm thinking blurry is good here! Track was a blast and instruction from Jim Guthrie helped alot. His body shop "Car Crafters" had painted my Black 83 RX7 back in about 86/87. I hadn't seen him since then - wasn't quite as famous back then. He's looking great and loving having car clubs out to his track. I was hesitant at first to have him drive my car a foot off the concrete wall in a curve doing 100 MPH, but quickly found myself doing it with his instruction. Holy crap that was fun!
Then fun comes at a price though - about 1/4th to 1/3rd of new tread on 275/305 tire setup. Well worth the permagrin!!!!!

Get this - 4 hours of track time, coffee/juice/made to order breakfast burritos ALL FOR $20 (the real cost is 3/4 tank of gas and tire tread)...... well worth the fun.
