You can use any dexos approved oil, the important thing is to change it regularly! But I prefer Amsoil XL 5w-30 because it has better additive package Mobil1. Factory oil specs are base on several factors like geographical and politics are one of them.

I change my own oil - dealer never touched it. The oil that came with the car is the oil from the factory.
