What Did You Do To Your Camaro Today?

I clay barred the windshield to slick it off and washed the Camaro. Hopefully all the "Love Bugs" are gone for the year. Sticky little buggers when they crash land.

Painted my calipers with G2 and Dupli color engine paint clear gloss.
I think they came out great.

I installed the same one a couple of months ago. I love that thing. Drilling the holes for the Rivnuts was nerve wracking though.

I always wanted a wicker bill spoiler, but I never knew they made one that fits the stock SS spoiler until right before I bought it.

Right! This thing is great 135 dollars.. uses stock spoiler ... very easy install just nerve racking like you said..and their wicker bills are interchangeable for the taller ones if we ever want to upgrade.... anyone hesitating to do this just pull the trigger!

I picked them up about a year and a half ago from OHIO SPEED. I was on the first container when they came out. do a search and you will find out how that event took place. it was a long wait.
They are replicas and are 20`s not the 19 the Z28 had. I think the guys name is Jim or Don. like I said do a search for MMR 228 OR MRR 228
and you should find a lot of info.

Looks great man! Very similar to mine, except I went with white lettering.
It's crazy just how much such a 'simple' mod like this can change the looks of our cars.

Got it ready for a 600 mile trip out to see my sister for her birthday on Thursday ... washed, detailed inside and out and checked all fluids

Thanks and I agree simple mod big change in overall appearance. When I look at my car now my peripheral vision picks right up on them.

I have a rear mount turbo setup semi complete...
Removed the entire charge pipe, replumbed an oil drain line, replaced a clamp on my oil return pump, ran oiling and cooling lines in a better location, took a few test drives.

On my way to work this morning, I pull up to a stoplight with a woman and her 4 children standing on the sidewalk, waiting to cross. As they step off the curb and begin to walk across the street, she grasps the 2 younger children's hands tightly. But once they get directly in front of me, the youngest boy takes his free hand and points directly at my Camaro, smiling ear-to-ear. He must have said something too, because the rest of the family then stopped in their tracks and looked towards my Camaro, also grinning. I instantly returned the smile and gave a wave. The whole family then, in sync, waved back... including the mother who let go of her son's hand to do so.

I drove onto work appreciating life, and my Camaro, just a little bit more after that. Because that kid who pointed and smiled ear-to-ear was 'me' when I was 5 years old.

I know the feeling. I love it. My GF doesn't understand why I get such a kick out of it. I keep trying to explain how I was once that kid admiring the car, and now im the guy WITH the car.
