Saturday I took off the strut tower brace I got for a Christmas gift last year painted the ends white then covered it with black carbon fiber. Today the Camaro fender emblem I ordered showed up and I installed it onto the brace.

Brake time!

It was time to replace the brakes... ceramic brakes with slotted+drilled rotors.

I love the look, and so far I really appreciate the silence. They feel very smooth.

(I know the calipers are in desperate need of being painted, that's still on my mod-list.)

May I recommend also painting your rotor hats? You want to do this very soon, while the hats are still clean and rust free.

I went with the PowerSport ceramic kit for $220, off Amazon. Not too crazy in price and the reviews were good across the board. I'm pleased with them so far. Sound is so much better, performance is better, and dust shouldn't be near as bad as the original metallic brakes.

Excellent suggestion, thanks! Painted calipers and rotor hats will be next to cross off my list.

I painted mine last year with a ceramic paint. I also sprayed the calipers with clear coat. Now they look brighter.

Been looking for a long time and finally found a perfect set of OEM Chrome wheels. It was worth the wait. Got some chrome Chevy center caps on the way to finish off my look.
