You don't have an allocation. It is typically 8 - 12 weeks from what we have been seeing on her once you move to 2000. The time you spend at 1100 is on you as your dealer does not have an allocation. Some people sit at 1100 for weeks because:

A: they are hell bent on sticking with a particular dealer. I did. I was at 1100 for 4 weeks waiting on an allocation. OR:

B: they sit at 1000 and bitch about no movement because they don't know the process. OR:

C: they were misled into believeing the dealer had an allocation for them. Which may be true, they just didn't tell you when!

If you fall into A, stop reading and I understand. If you are in B or C, search for things on allocation. There has been talk of it changing when we went to GM Company from Corporation so it may be different now if not soon. In a nut shell:

You go to order a car. When you get workbench you are at 1100. You stay there untill your dealer gets an allocation for your vehicle. Take for instance somewent into a dealer on friday and ordered a SS M6 and his brother goes in and orders an SS A6 tomorrow... Since there is techinically a constraint (probably only till this thursday) for the M6 SS, the A6 will get picked up first b/c constraints get passed up. So you wait, at 1100. If that A6 was his LAST allocation, youre waiting till next month.
OLD SYSTEM:
Allocations came out monthly based on weekly orders. They are given to dealer based on car sales, not camaro sales. Sell x number of cars, get Y camaros no matter what you demand is at your delaership. Stupid system! You may be a low volume dealer in the country but have a large demand for camaros. That dealer would still get few allocations causing sales to go to other dealerships.

For example for me:

I went into my dealer Memorial Day weekend and placed my order and got my workbench order number and was event code 1100. I asked about allocation b/c I am aware of the process. He tells me there are 2 cars at 1100 ahead of me, both SS cars, #12 and 13. I am #14 ordered at the dealership but 1-11 are already delived or into the build process. Anyhow, the inventory manager (my new salesman) informs me he has no more June allocations. June order cycle ran May15-June 15 and that the nest set would be June 15 to July 15 but he had no idea how many he'd get. So I knew right off the bat I was waiting at least 2 weeks. June 15 comes and he get 5 for the month. The pull on Tuesdays. 2 the first tuesday, 1 the second then 0, 0, 2 for the 5 tuesdays in that month. So, I was #3 so mine got picked up, event code 2000, the second tuesday of the cycle. Now the 8-12 weeks starts then. Even with this M6 issue, it seems like I still should be right on track...

Now the questions you need to ask your dealer:

-Do you have any allocations? He will liklely say yes we do. BUT you need to then as -How many people are 1100 ahead of me? I was 3 down the list but I hear people are 20-30 deep. You are looking at quite a wait at 1100. Some dealers probably wont tell you this so you don't bolt. If there are no cars at 1100 ahead of you, he has no allocations this month. If you have been waiting 6 weeks, I'd ask. You should have been picked up by now. If you have any other questions just ask, I may be able to help.

NEW SYSTEM:
FIFO (first in first out) I think they are going to this. You order a car, you get it! No waiting in this allocation bs.

Sorry I rambled off topic but this may help Viz when people wonder why they aren'r moving past 1100.

I noticed that almost all the codes start with a N
