oh i will. my goal while its cooler (55 degrees and under) is to try to pull a 13.5 or less on street tires to show its possible. then grab the drag radials (305/45MT) and try to pull at 13.3 issh. i mean thats v8 time

I already beat a 335i and he didnt spin on launch. He ran (stock) 13.7

I think a 305 drag radial will actually make you run slower. I don't know if our v6 NA has enough to fully utilize a 305 drag radial. I fully hope I'm wrong though.

i dont think it has that much grip that it will hinder us. i know of someone who has used them. plus i can launch at full throttle. my 60 ft should be great

Good Luck, my experience with running the 305's, I could not get enough heat in them, they were big and heavy, slowing me down. I thought the same thing, launch high on the RPM's did not help either. When I went to the 265/40/18 DR's that is when I saw my best 60'

My 305's were 20's, heavy, and being an automatic without the proper limited slip rear end it was difficult getting both tires up to good operating temperatures.

Hey y'all! Went to No Problem today to see if I could go any quicker before I add a cold air and a tune. My other passes were 13.98 and a 14.04. The date is a day off, passes were made today, Jan 25. Thanks to Mr. Kent and crew at No Problem Raceway for a great prepped track. And thanks to everyone on here for giving me all the great tips. Stay tuned....

Find a nice cheap set of LT wheels (or lighter wheels in general) and that will make a big difference as well. Probably almost as much as the CAI and tune if you can get it to hook. Which you have already proven is possible.

Sweet! This winter/snow thing is killing me I need to move so I can run my car year round and in some good DA once winter temperatures drop around this time of the year.

Well, moving up the list a little at a time!! New personal best last night 12.81. I feel the car will be consistant 12.7's once Matt@FSP gets my NOS tune ironed out. We looked at the log and see it dip 90-95mph(i think its the 3-4 shift point)
