Ehh

Installed my Holley iNTECH CAI and it was rather easy, but I can’t say the same for the MSD spark plug wire set. They threw codes left and right. It seems they weren’t able to seat properly and weren't “truly” compatible with my 16 SS. The cables where short by 2 inches it seemed and summit racing’s application system gave me green ✅’s indicating this part works for my model. Once I removed the CAI and plug wires replacing them with the OE, the codes went away. OnStar actually sent me an email notification of an emissions failure code...... so I reinstalled the CAI and all is fine, no codes.

Looks nice bro, what size are your rims? As in 20 x 10, x 8.5, x 11??

Thanks, bud. They are 20x9 wheels in the front on 275/40/20 tires, 20x10 wheels on rear with 305/35/20 tires.

Thanx for the reply.... I’m looking to go wider on mine also, I’m running 255F/285R NT555G2’s. I just love the idea of 305’s being on the rear haha

I did the same thing the smaller tires looked to stretched. I went with 275 in the front and 315 in the rear.

Looking Sweet!

I ordered a Range Technology Active Fuel Management Disable Device (Blue) today. Tired of the L99 farting with my Borla S-Type exhaust.

Gotta love those G2's... they look great.

Drove mine to work and back again... such a fun ride... so smooth, straddles a fine imaginary line. Man, that Hotchkis set is probably THE best mod on my ride..... at least I think so sometimes...

I was reading an engine buildup, I think it was a magazine type article online with an LSA engine. They put on the MSD wires and other stuff and LOST 30hp. They put the OEM wires on and gained back the 30hp.
It sounds like some problem like you encountered. I made a mental note-no msd wire upgrade thank you.
