I want a real Cowl Induction Hood!!
Yeah why is it no one has ranted about that? That's the same as the fake hood scoop.

The thing is, if he were to "searched" and found that thread and posted
his comment in it, then some would shout "Necro poster".Loose Loose situation.

How is it that GM added that SS hood scoop mail slot and made it not functional. Just for looks huh? I would rather they remove it along with the fake brake cooling accents in the rear UNLESS it is made to be functional. At least give us the option to buy FUNCTIONAL versions...
</rant>

WOW....So why are you hear. All your post in all the threads you've posted in are negative. You have not said one thing postive. You have done nothing but put down the car. The gills and hood are non functional, there is no nav, the interior is not like a caddy, and the list goes on. If you dont like the damn car why are you here posting?

Well fake hood scoops are kind of a heritage thing if you think about it.. Didn't the 67-69 Camaro SS have fake hood vents on them, how about the early 80's Camaros with the hood scoop that was bolted on and non-functional. and the worst of all in my opinion were the fake hood vents on the IROC Z cars.... So to me the SS mailslot is not a big deal... Just tradition to distinguish one model from another one...

Yes its not funciton, neither are the brake vents...

it will not take more then a little V shaped piece of plastic to direct incomming rocks and shit away from the release latch. And then you can make it functional.
junior members are only junior till they get 100 posts. a lot of senior members on here have posted identical posts as his.

and it will take more than a little V shaped piece of plastic to make the functionality WORTH it. yeah, you could chop up the front frame to allow for tubing to direct air to the filter box, but being able to supply sufficient air would be another obstacle to overcome.
read some of the other mail-slot functionality threads. its been gone over and over with pictures and everything

riced up..... if someone put RAM AIR badges/decals on the car, it would be rice. creating a different front fascia resemblant of the concept is not.

Haven't you noticed the closer to production we get the more of the rehashings of complaints we have been beating to deat will keep popping up again and again...
All Complaints on the hood scoop should be merged into one thread, all complaints of the side gills should be merged into one thread, all the compl;aints about ABL should be merged into one thread and any new member has to read every post in them before they can Start their own thread...
Also any time someboday makes a post about fake anything it shod be deleted before it is posted and the person be redirected to the fake ____threads..
