It's beyond obvious that he wasn't talking about the 2011s. His posts explicitly said he had no idea about the 2011s.

Take a good look at the drivers for the cars listed. John Buttermore holds many of the top slots at the track and was in both cars. John is the consummate professional.

Pedders invites press to our track events. We don't let the press drive our cars on track. We reserve that for our professional drivers. At one event we took two writers out on track in the base model Camaro. I personally asked them both if they would be comfortable running at race speeds on track or should we ask the driver to run at 7 or 8 tenths. Tell him to go all out. We are drivers and have done this many times. OK. We let it rip. They both declined rides in the modified cars.

The 2010 mustang has the 4.6 in it. I believe he meant the newer 5.0 version and stock vs stock.
Motor trend, car and driver and road and track all picked the mustang as the winner but that dosnt mean all to much to me.

The 5.0 vs the SS is a dead heat at Gingerman. We ran the 5.0 with the optional Brembos and stick. It was 1 second faster than the SS with an Auto. At Gingerman that puts them in a dead heat. The new lighter weight block will absolutely help the Mustang by imporving balance and increasing the weight advantage over the Camaro.

SS to GT500 -- GT500
SS to GT -- Dead Heat / Driver's Race

On the other hand, the SS brakes were is great condition after our hot laps. The GT brakes were toast. We only got in 1.5 hot laps becaase the brakes on the GTo went away. The reas were literally gone and the front took a beating becuase of the rears. Granted our hot laps are HOT, it was dissapointing to see the Brembo upgraded GT brakes melt away that quickly.

the 5.0's block is about the same weight as the 3V so there are no weight savings there. if it does weigh less, its only about 5 lbs.

In all honesty you have to drive them to tell. The mustang is a lighter ligher car and rightfully feels so behind the wheel, however it is also smaller and I felt cramped.
Speed is a drivers race.

It never crossed your mind that he thought that car was a 2010, considering your ambiguous wording led him to believe you posted a run of a 2010? I.e., he was talking about 2010s, and you posted a video of a 2011. His second post you responded to explicitly said he had no idea about the 2011s, but he gave his (true) reasoning to why a stock 2010 GT500 would never see that MPH. He only doubted the run because he did not think it could happen without the car putting down 500 rwhp, and he knew that the 2010 (and below) GT500s were not 500 rwhp cars. So, after he realized it wasn't a 2010 then he conceded it could happen. It's really not that hard to figure out.

NOT trying to start WWIII. Just if given a choice would you purchase a Camaro agian?
This is a very loaded question.. we have ways of dealing with dissenters :-P
