Those are nice! Going to damn expensive though...

Looking at the specs, you might also want to invest in a forklift...

TRIPLE WORKCHEST™ (972-3X)

Dimensions
Height (35”)
Width (72”)
Depth (24”)
ESTIMATED WEIGHT
548 Lbs

I used to sell these - http://www.baldheadcabinets.com/showcase.html. Those were not cheap, even my customers in $2m+ homes balked at the prices, cheaped out, and bought Gladiator GarageWorks stuff instead.

Apparently you've been gone from the Midwest too long. This is Menards territory. Cheaper and better then ProBuild.

got some updates...

first... the important stuff... the beer and kegerator.

Mead is vigorously fermenting... shit is bubbling like NO other.
Whiskey is aging in the barrel,
the cordials are sitting... waiting for their time!

my next Ale is going in the carboy this weekend. bought the whole store out... kegs and all.. not going to do any of that tedious bottling bull

now for the kegerator.... i sold the big boy.... (held 7 half barrels)

but now i have this effin rediculous thing... I love it.... it will fit in nicely with the bar I have planned in the barn.

Points I need answered:

- Where can I find info on this unit (fridge forums?) Know of any good ones?
- Need to find out any and all details on it, like year/model
- Can I fix the Kalvenator cooling unit? Is it worth it?
- Can I get a new replacement cooling unit?

So, here is the story

My father pulled this out of a resturant in town over 20 years ago, I do not think it worked then, because it was being used as a pie shelf or something like that. Dad put it away in his barn and there it sat.

now its 2012, I have many batches of Mead and Beer brewing and I decide I am not going to bottle it, just going to keg it. Dad offered me this piece of art to turn into a Kegerator.
Dont worry, I will not be drilling holes or hurting this is anyway. I am thinking about replacing one of the doors with a "replacement look alike" panel to hold the taps.

It did a quick google search and saw a one that was similar, it had almost identical hinges. I believe it is metal covered in porcelain.
I cannot find any seriel numbers on the fridge itself, and could not find anything googling the numbrs off the compressor unit.

Anyway, this will be going in my barn/bar/flophouse...

My main concern right now is getting it running. I have no issue using a newer cooling unit, as I am not doing a full restoration. Just not sure who to take it to or what to get to make this work. Maybe I should calling a local refridgerator guy?
