I'm 56 and just ordered my fourth Camaro ('78 Z28, '97 Z28, '02 Z28, '10 2SS).

You're never too old to enjoy life, IMO.

I smiled when I noticed this thread because I had exactly the same concern - will I look like a dork? I'm a 51 year old college professor and I was concerned I'd be considered weird when/if I get a 2SS. I have always wanted a car like the 2SS. It will make us happy and we're not getting any younger! Let's go for it!

This is my fifth Camaro, 67 SS/RS, 72Z 28, 84Z28, 2000 SS, 2010 SS2/RS
Just love Camaros, should be driving a Buick I know, but you can't get a 6speed manual in one.

A 70 year old approached me about my car last week. I think he was serious about going down and buying one.
Said he was glad he saw mine as he couldn't find one on any dealer lot and was up last night thinking about the Camaro.
