I like the old school SS emblem, Tom. Can't wait to see the new grille treatment!

My opinion? I really like these better. They are almost a match for the red SS's in the right corner, you know?

Seem to fit much better!

4th gens. to me they just dont look right on these new ones.

Going in the right direction. The gloss black looks much better than the satin finish. The SS is the right style now; just a bit too big. Should be about 80% of that size. Still not crazy about the blacked out bumper. I'd like to see my idea of just the tail light recesses blacked out and the rear panel.

It's getting better; starting to look more polished.

Maybe, a little smaller if possible on the badge. Somewhere in the middle between the one in the center and the red one in the corner.

dont know if this has been addressed yet, but once the big SS logo is in the center of the back, its kind of silly to have the small SS badge that GM puts on the decklid on, as well... taking it off and leaving it as a smooth panel would definitely make the lines of the car flow better with all of the new paint... as of now, it just looks too busy with it back there.

and besides, taking that extra badge off is a weight savings mod

IMHO the reason several of you are saying it should be smaller is because the dimensions are not the same on this newer style badge as the SS badge on the new Camaro, or at least, not when compared to the one on the trunk lid.

The factory badge on the trunk looks almost as wide as the one they've put on, but it's shorter, it seems to be a much more low profile badge.

I think a badge of that kind of width (maybe even a bit wider) would be fine if it matched the profile / ratio of the existing SS badge (which I still think would be good to replace with the RS badge, or remove).

This one is certainly better suited than the rounder one though!

I agree that this size more suits the rear panel.

Doh, I completely missed that the pict on this page was edited, thanks for the refresher Tag

I went back on the last page & looked at that one again, I agree that is a little too big overall. I think if it were to match the ratio of the stock badge the width might work, but it looks too tall there.

I know picky picky aren't we!!!

I doubt they make the 2010 Camaro style badge in any other size than what is available on the trunk and grill from the factory, may have to get something custom for it to look perfect IMHO.

Is the front & rear 2010 Camaro badge the same size, or is the front one larger?

A few things, if the badge gets any smaller the holes from the bowtie are exposed, and no, I would not leave 2 SS badges on the car, we have not removed the spoiler badge because we haven't decided what we want to do with the rear panel.

The trunklid of a Cobalt SS has the smaller new style SS badge but I'm afraid Tom is right - it is not large enough to cover the original bowtie holes.

I think the width is okay, but it's too tall & the other badge on the back of the 2010 Camaro is much wider than it is tall.

If we could find a larger version of the 2010 Camaro badge, instead of the newer style you currently have, I think the dimensions would look better, even if it is the same width (being shorter).

Does anyone know if the SS badge on the front of the car is any larger than the one on the back? I don't think it is.

I will try my best to stop talking and *attempt* to edit a picture to show you what I mean. I haven't used photo editing software in probably 7 years though, first to go digging & see if I still have any...
