If you talking TAIL LIGHTS alone, I'm on the fence, take it or leave it. I lean to the 13 lights.
BUT, if you take the complete tail 14 makeover, that's where its horrible in my eyes.
A whale tail? really??? And the Pontiac Aztec lower plastic treatment?? Too much!

So ya, if all they did was swap out the tail lights I would say not bad for a refresh.

My opinion no flames please.

I don't like them but obviously my opinion is not what the general public shares because I believe sales went up on the 2014 cars vs the 2013 cars. It's actually not so much the tail lights as it is the diffuser. How that much plastic goes up half the bumper. Reminds me of the Aztec, Avalanche, 2010-2012 Mustang and I don't like the looks of any of those cars.

because in my original comment - before the one with the pictures -- i said that the attraction of the new taillights are the LED factor. The old Camry's and that other car did not have LEDs.

soon most cars will have LED taillights and headlights. that's one of the things that make them look more modern rather than retro.

Your point is still useless. So they use the same bulbs as a Maserati??? So what? My wheels are round, just like a Rolls Royce, doesn't make my Camaro a Rolls Royce.

For those that don't remember, the 2014 Camaro taillights are very similar to the 1993-2002 Camaro taillights... As well as the 3rd gens.... As well as the late 2nd gens.... and the same overall shape as the 1st gens, even though 1st gens' taillights were flat...

1st Generation, though flat, carries the same shape:

Spot on response and examples. I own 3 gens and they have similar tail lights.
