well the update with the vins have been so slow ive been keeping track in TPW 21/09 and TPW 28/09 and in some cases people's cars have been shipped out 3 days before they get thier vin..

hopefully thats the case with ours...

Here is the US number for GM Customer Service. 1-800-222-1020, select the warrentee prompt.

My car is "On its way to production, set to be produced the FIRST HALF OF OCTOBER". The rep did not know anything about the plant being closed, as he is based in Michigan or something.

I did not get much information at all. Really not worth the wait times on the phone. Viz seems to have more info. I will check back with him early next week.

OK you 10/5 people. I am a 9/28er; one week ahead of you. I am here to assure you that your Camaros are right around the corner. These cars are really rolling out of Oshawa now.

My daughter and I picked my Camaro up yesterday, Oct 8. We had to hurry home before the rains set in. However, after I dropped her off at the house, the rain held off long enough for me to get the opportunity to take it on the open freeway for about an hour. I kicked it in the rear several times to begin the break-in process. Oh Yeah! This is going to be a lot of fun!

Its been raining all day today. But, as you can see by the photos, its safe and dry in the garage. A sunny weekend is predicted.

Sure, like you, I got a little frantic the final week, but looking back the wait wasn't too bad. In fact, I was very fortunate; I ordered my Camaro on Sept 1st and my allocation became available on Sept 3rd. It took only 5 weeks from order to delivery...great job Oshawa. The people at the plant and GM did a fantastic job on this car..its rock solid and flawless.

Life is good in Michigan and it will be like-wise very soon where you live.

I think you guys have your cars built, but they just haven't updated the information. I wouldn't be surprised if next week you get your VINs and find out that your cars have been in transit for a few day already.

Alfie Thanks for the encouragement. That is a sweet ride. Sorry to read about your car coming with extra mileage. I feel your dealer was very disrespectful of an already sold car.
