The jig is made the product fits like a glove and the Manual exhaust note is pure poetry! Deep and mean at all RPM ranges but no drone and it never even comes close to getting obnoxious! Now that the test fit is done Solo will start to manufacture the V6 Manual units and we we be able to ship within 5-7 days. It was a long long day for the guys and many video's and pics were taken. They're back at it tomorrow with the V6 Automatic in Buffalo. I'm sure it will be another long day as the Auto V6 has proven very difficult so far. . We can expect video's,pics, pricing and a full update sometime later on this Friday. Thanks we are looking forward to getting started with a V6 group buy.

You are welcome. I felt very comfortable leaving my car in the hands of the guys at Solo (although it wasn't easy not having it for a day)

Just a quick follow up to my original summary of the exhaust. I was debating when I first got the car back whether the sound was a little too agressive for me and considered having resonators put on to tone it down a little. After driving it for a couple of weeks all I can say is that I am extremely happy with the sound and have no intentions of changing anything. I think going from the stock 'tinny' exhaust sound to the Solo exhaust took a little getting used too. I also think the sound has actually improved after driving the car for a couple of weeks and the guys at Solo yesterday also noted the same improvement.

I can't wait to see the pics and videos and I hope they do justice to the sound of the exhaust. The sound is much deeper than I thought it would be and it even has that nice very slight crackle while decelerating. I have had a lot of compliments over the last couple of weeks.

Thanks again to all the guys at Solo...you guys worked hard and the end result definitely shows.

Just another update: I just spoke to the boss as he was driving in the V6 automatic. Results are VERY promising. We should have an automatic kit done by the end of the day.

Solo,
Thanks for the update and don't forget...
We are interested in learning about any operational performance benefits that may result from the installation of your setup in addition to the sounds and cosmetic improvements. Please keep us in the loop for data when you have some to share.

Yep, a lot of people don' realize that the exhaust does have a "break-in" period and will start to sound better as the pipes "season"....

cool stuff!
