I’d put Miami over Clemson. Wisconsin is a weak #4/5. That’s why I’d put Oklahoma up there.

As of right now my... and therefore the correct ... ranking is:

1.) Oklahoma
2.) Miami
3.) Alabama
4.) Clemson

Going forward -

Oklahoma has to survive a trap game against West Virginia, then beat someone again in the Big 12 championship game (which probably now the Big 12 is sorry they created). I think they do it.

Miami and Clemson will sort it out in the ACC championship game so one is in and one is out

Alabama is probably the best team but they still do not have a quality win and have not looked great against either LSU or Miss St so who knows. If they trounce Auburn they go to #1. I think they beat Auburn in a close game, then blow out Georgia.

Who replaces the Miami/Clemson loser? Ohio State... thereby infuriating the entire college football world outside of Ohio.

Honestly? The Alabama fan in me says shut up you big hater! The football fan in me says that would not be entirely unfair, and reward Auburn with number 5 or 6 for beating the “number 1” team.

Hater? Where's the hate?

Do I think Alabama is the best team? Yes.

Have they beaten anybody yet to prove that? No.

So I have them at three.

The only two even kind of decent teams they played gave them trouble. LSU had receivers open deep on two or three occasions but their sucky QB couldn't hit them. Connect on just one of those and it's a different game. (A note for the probable championship game... Baker Mayfield does not miss those passes). And MS State gave them all they could handle as well.

Those are just facts.

I don't hate Alabama; I'm just able to look at them objectively.

I think the championship game will be Alabama and Oklahoma with someone winning 48-45.

Oh you you know the stereotypical Alabama fan...if you don’t have them at number one all the time and bleed hounds tooth, you’re a “hater”. I should have quoted that to begin with. Miami sure ain’t getting no love from anyone...I hate em and I’m giving them more props than the masses!

True.

But nobody can stop their offense.
