Still looking into it. Almost there. I will be calling around to hotels in Savannah this week to see if I can secure a discount for us. Not sure since the group is not huge, but I will try. By the end of the week I should have the hotel info.

Just in case anyone needs to gas up before this spot we have a backup gas spot in selma off of rt57. It is a Sunoco with 93 (the attendant said they "don't have no octane"... ), and has 16 pumps. It is about 40 miles before the lunch spot.

Well you can take our names of your list: RickRay; Christcringle;Ls1_98...
We'll be taking the northern route to Atlanta I-81...See you at the fest...Bye Rick

It is imperative that we maintain the time frames indicated. The times will be set to allow a limited amount of time for groups to meet up and move out. When you select a meeting point, be there BEFORE the specified meeting time. Groups will need to depart the meeting locations at the specified times as to not be late to the next stop. The groups will be in contact with each other to update on progress along the way. Individual drivers may want to have contact information of the other members of the group they are in.

Where exactly is Indigo Joe's at? Is it before or after you get to Selma. I might just plan on meeting you for lunch or in Selma at the gas station... whichever comes first.

"The major routes are as follows: (all departing Thursday, April 15)
.......Rapid City SD – Sioux Falls – Topeka – Nashville – Chattanooga (overnight)"

This doesn't pertain to me cause I live in Maine, but I was reading through this thread and saw this route. It seemed like a very long drive for 1 day, so I plugged it into Mapquest and it said this is 1395 miles and will take 21 hours. How is anyone gonna do this drive and be up the next morning at 0600 to head south?

I guess that would be up to whoever is starting in Rapid City. My assumption is that they will break it up in two days. I guess it was a typo on my part saying "all starting thursday". I put this together but I am not on that route. A member told me they would be in Chattanooga Friday morning so they are on the list. How and when they get there, I don't care as long as they make the Friday morning meeting point ontime!

Most routes are preliminary. Dates, times and stopping points will probably change on a lot of the routes the closer we get to april, it'll all work out in the end

Just thought I would mention here for the route starting in OKC, I update my immediate list as soon as I'm told someone is joining us, the part of my list that combines in ATL gets updated once a week maybe less as I compare it to jrhaus

Our route has no designated times. I have a request for a stop in Little Rock and this WILL be worked into our schedule. As time gets closer I will start posting stop times/locations but they are of course tentative. If you are located in a meet location between OKC and ATL we will need to keep in contact and as the time come I will probably as for your number so that if we get backed up on timing the day of I don't want you sitting and waiting on us if we will be running a bit late (Hopefully this will not happen) But as jr said, I will contact everyone in my group via PM as time draws closer and I'll keep you updated
