There's a HUGE difference between a V6 and Leno's V6. That's like comparing a 87 Buick Regal to a 87 Grand National.

I think Green accents would be cool but TOTALLY GREEN would get very annoyoing, QUICKLY.

Be glad they didn't make it only available as a Hybrid, and have one of those silly growing trees like Ford puts in their Hybrid whateveryacallit.(the name even escapes me) on yeah Confusion.. er i mean Fusion like the razor...

Do you just not get it? It's a limited edition color. This isn't created to make money it's being released to extend the camaros audience and give everybody a chance to have something unique. This is something that seriously needs to happen or would you be happier with the bowtie only catering to camaro enthusiasts and then the F-body disappears again. What happens if Camaro doesn't get any younger followers? Stop being selfish and allow everyone to enjoy the Camaro.
So what if it's only on a 1LT is a dream come true for somebody out there and a HELLUVA lot better than buying an import. I applaud GM for reaching out and making moves toward extending its consumer base.

Supaman, dont you think 1LT only is a bit too restricitve in terms of limited edition?
Im 18 and i dont think adding the green as a color or even limiting it to the 1LT does much for bring in the younger qcrowd. they already have doen that with the design and transformers

GM isn't in a position to build special editions for fun or just because they feel like going after some magic niche market. Everything they build had better be with the intention of making money. That said, my first impression of this is that it's a great idea gone bad. A special edition green 1LT is a cool idea for the value market. Making that the only way to get a green Camaro is simply giving all of the other potential customers that want a more optioned green Camaro the finger. This is just flat out bad business.

That's what got them into trouble in the first place. their flat-out focus on profit is wha tled them to start using cheap plasticky interiors, water based paints, same sheet metal for 5-6 years straight. probably using it to increase showroom traffic... once people come in and find out they could only get it on the 1LT they may decide to get another color since the Camaro looks great in all colors...

I think they will soon after the green comes out make it available for the SS also. My thoughts are that if they get enough V6's sold they will then allow it on all so when you see a green one going down the road you won't know at a distance if its a V6 or SS. Just a crazy thought on my part. As we know GM does weird stuff sometimes. When I ordered my 2SS a couple weeks ago wanted the Aqua Blue so bad. Blues my favorate color on automobiles but I like a bright blue. And it was just right. But no they drop it. Some say to allow the green in. Why not have kept both? So I have an Inferno Orange with Orange/Black interior and black stripes which I think will look good also.
