Yes because the gt500 only run's 12.8

Yes with mediocre drivers, horrible actually in the GT500, it will just barely beat the SS. The stock 2010 GT500 has run 11.9s @ 120mph. With a tire the car went 11.50s @ 118mph. It is not a close race with a SS if the GT500 driver can at least halfway drive.

I can't wait for the Z28 to come out. Hopefully Ford will then make the 670hp package standard on the GT500. They have at least hinted at that recently.

Voted! Considering there hasn't been Camaro sales for 8 years, its suprising the vote is close at all.

They're probably winning because overall there are more mustang owners on the road (overall not new ones) so more people have mustangs. However since the new Camaro came out it has outsold the mustang 11 months in a row...so who is actually winning right now? Despite all the repetetive mustang commercials I always see (I never Camaro ones) and all the mustang advertisements on numerous websites (myspace or others) for the 2010 mustang they're still losing the race that matters most.

I think it will be very interesting to see the sales numbers this year.

In 2009 the Mustang outsold the Camaro, mainly because the Camaro came to the scene late. If in 2010 the Mustang outsells the Camaro again that would be amazing.
