Nice! That's the color I wanted originally. They had such a hard time finding a car with the options I wanted though, that I eventually settled for black. She'll love that car.

She already loves it! It was on the lot at Subaru of Wichita, and after some talking, I got the deal I wanted and shook hands. It had everything she wanted and then some, so she is happy to say the least.

So do you guys have a plan for Blacktop Nationals yet? I'm looking at the registration form here trying to decide whether or not to sign up. I assume you'll have your HC circle like usual?

I believe there are several of us signed up including superfly1 and myself. Superfly1 said he would post some info on meeting and rolling in times sometime this weekend. If you have facebook there should be info showing up there also on the Heartland Camaro page, it's a closed group but we can add you if your not already in.

Right now it appears the group is doing a 50/50 split.

50% going to black top nationals..
50% going to Kansas City for Midwest Camaro Fest

The ones going to Kansas City should be back in time Sunday to hang out with those that are staying behind for Blacktop Nationals.

In the past when we have done Blacktop Nationals we meet at the Wichita Ice Center off of Maple & Sycamore St.
As Brad (TornadoSS) mentioned.. I think Matt (Superfly1) will be cordinating the ones going to Blacktop Nationals.

Feel free to join our Facebook group "Heartland Camaros" to stay in the loop on some stuff

Dang! That makes my decision harder. We'll be in lawrence friday moving a daughter to ku (woohoo!). I was already torn between the two shows. Looks like you guys are too!

Even though Blacktop is a Ford sponsored event I always try and support our local shows and charities first. AND, we have swept 2 classes, 1st, 2nd and 3rd for the last 2 years! Nothing like the feeling of doing that at a Ford event lol!
