Thats awesome. Figure 1-3 days from when it leave until it gets to the dealer. I figured it would be the same day... it isnt. Mine left monday, got to dealer wednesday at 8:00 am. Put it this way, it WILL be next week for sure. At least the weather is decent (no snow) for you to get it home. From looking at your dates, I would be shocked if it didn't go out monday or tuesday if MLK day is a holiday for the trucking co.

Awesome!
I am not sure i am going to be able to get him out...

I need to go to the doctors in the morning

I need to fix the headlight in the truck... the low beam quit working so first I replaced bulb, not it so i put the old buld back in and fiddled around with the plug and it came on so i figured it was a bad connection in the plug and I got it shoved back in... nope, lasted about 2 weeks... So I replaced the plug... no go still. I am not chasing the wire all through the truck so tomorrow I am jumpering it from the passenger side. I know thats cheating but so what!

I need to change to change the oil in the honda, its due for its 205K service.

I need to shovel all the gravel that I plowed off the driveway into the yard back onto the driveway. Won't be doing that again!

If I get all that done, maybe i will get it out... maybe I will take it to the the doctors and to get the oil... I really want to but then I'd have to clean it... oh the dilemia.

1 RD Jewel - I went with a CCcover also but the StormWeave version since I've got boys who aren't always so careful in the garage. It has a padded feeling and hopefully will keep Merlin from getting garage dings.

50 tomorrow??!! Merlin might have to come out for a spin if only to charge up his battery...

Here's those pics Rd Jewl. Guess it was Firefox, Explorer is letting me post. IT is a foreign subject to me. If MYBAD SS goes out tomorrow it probably won't be much farther than the gas station. Depends how clean the roads look. I don't feel like washing a car either.

Well scratch fixing the truck... did that today.

Strange thing happened when i was outside fixing it. A random black silverado pulled down my driveway and turned around infront of my house. This would not be so weird if I didnt live way back off the road (1000 feet) on a drive marked private at the end of a cul-de-sac. Other odd thing is it looked just like the truck that a couple fellas were driving on new years day to come look at my Jeep when I was trying to sell it... hmm, Jeep is gone and it just seems odd. It was a black silverado, maybe 95? with FOX real big in white on the back...

If you shop at www.chevymall.com and spend more than $75 before 1/31/2010, you may use keycode CM971 to get $10 off your order.

so much for sunny and 50. now it is changed to partly cloudy and 43. I see no part to these clouds. On a good note, I got all my chores done and now I feel like a whipped dog. raking gravel out of the grass is not easy! I will never... EVER plow my driveway again! I also got the oil changed in the Civic, went to the dr. (clean bill of health!) and fixed the truck. Now I am half tempted to go and jack up the Camaro and remove the exhaust and start tinkering with it. First I am going to leave the mufflers and remove the resonators. I think that will be easier, cheaper and better than people doing the muffler delete... I am also thinking of yanking the front facia and starting the DRL to fog lamp mod. Or I may sit on my rump and relax...

Question... anyone ever change a timing belt? The Civic is due at 210K which is in 5000 miles (2 months) and the belt is only $35. Seems like it should be pretty easy. Autozone gave me a print out showing how to do it and I have a Haynes book. Just wondering if anyone has attempted it.

Yeah, what happened to those warmer temps. The thermometer hasn't gotten above 32 here and it has been foggy for days. :(

I don't know specifically about Civic timing belts; however, you might check to see if there are any other parts that are recommended to be replaced at the same time as the timing belt. For example, on my Intrepid, it is recommended you change the water pump since you have to remove many of the same parts to get to both the timing belt and water pump.
