Just found out some news. I will be going to Turkey in April for a 15 month remote assignment!!

Turkey is wonderful and you will be able to travel to alot of areas! As far as remote assignments...its one of the better one! Keep your positive attitude and you will do fine! You can meet up with your family in Greece or Turkey for a small vacation and you will get an R&R trip home too.

I'm very excited! It is a Beautiful area!! And I can take a couple days of leave like you said to all of the surrounding area so I will have to fly my family out there to visit!! I don't think I can take my car but I will have my keyboard to write and record new songs while I'm out there!!

The last thing I bought before I took on my second job (parenting haha). It took FOREVER to come in so it barely got installed a couple days ago. I've got a 1" drop and I'm just a little less than 4" off the ground now. I have to go slow on dips and up some driveways, but looks too good not to have it!

Oh, and in case anyone was wondering, car seats fit JUST FINE in the back! Little guy loves the Camaro, puts him right to sleep!

There are some carshows this weekend, if you are interested in going to.

Edgewood: Route 66 - 12th Annual Celebration, August 27th from 10am to 5pm. Set up time is at 8am. This is a free event, no registration fee. There will be Food, Giveaways, and more. If you want more info please call Tony Jr. at 459-2358 or 286-300. The event will take place at the Rich Ford in Edgewood.

Double Eagle II Airport: This is a Fly-In and Open House, Plus Carshow. There will be different aircrafts on display, flight training information, military vehicles and Museum, Cars & Cars, Helicopter & Airplane SIMULATOR. This is a free event also, there are no rewards. The event is on Saturday, August 27th from 9:00am - 3:00pm at the Double Eagle Airport. Whom ever would like to go to this event, I know that Michelle and I are going, but if you all would like to do a pot luck lunch and snacks for this day, let me know so we can coordinate foods and stuff. Directions: From the North, go West on Paseo del Norte past Ventana Ranch straight to Dounble Eagle II airport. Form the East, South or West: I-40, exit 149 "Atrisco Vista". Turn North for approx. 7 miles to Double Eagle II airport. Those who are going to this event we will be meeting at the old albuquerque hotel on rio grande at 8 am and leave by 8:45 and caravan to the double eagle airport show.

Car Show at Hooters West Side: There is also a car show at hooters if any one wants to go to that one. $20 registration setup from 8-11 and show from 11-4:30
