Cleaned her off and swept out the garage. Was actually able to get a shot of my 2018 CR-V daily driver giving my baby the evil eye for being garage kept while it sits outside. The other two bays are for the wife’s cars.

Oh I get crap from the wife all the time; Why is your precious Camaro in the garage while mines is now out in the driveway. Simply because her car's not worth $30K and there not a scratch on mine.

Did my first oil change on my SS today. What a pain.. Dealership must have torqued the filter to 100ft-lb. Couldn't get it with the serpentine belt and vice grip trick. Ended up hammering a hole saw on the end, which coincidentally had a 1/2" slot for the chuck, so my ratchet fit nicely. Was hoping it would not puncture (which it did) but, it backed off. I do not own an oil filter wrench, because I know the proper way to put them on. Nor have I had a car with it in a hard to reach "pocket" like this car.

Between the 8qts synthetic, filter, new larger oil pan, and an oil analysis, I'm in $100 for this one! But, all good!

its been a few days since this happened, but Finally got my Camaro Running Again after 2 years. Previous owner did a Cam swap on the car before I got it and didnt change anything other than the Cam. so in the mean time it had pushrods that were too long, valve springs that were factory etc etc. finally had the time and money to get all the items together to REDO the cam swap with a new cam, new lifters, push rods, oil pump, rockers etc.... Permagrin was reinstalled aswell, and the topper of the whole thing is My almost 2 year old son Finally is able to ride along in "daddy's Race Car"
