Just washed and waxed my car today. I have a parade to put it in tomorrow. Need to make sure it looks its best...which isn't hard.

Can I say what I did yesterday, as I was too tired to post up after my long fabulous day? Represented our Columbia River Camaro Club at the Muscle Car Day in front of the Portland Art Museum. The special exhibit is "The Allure of the Automobile;" 16 20th-century cars that are museum-worthy, including the original Stingray from Bill Mitchell's Studio X. Posted up technical specs on my Red Jewel Tone 2010 2LT, and had comments all day long from non-car people out strolling downtown. Most couldn't believe the 305 hp on a V-6 with that kind of compression, torque, AND gas mileage. I had several people accuse me of being a salesperson for GM. I said, "Nope, everyone who owns one sounds like me!"

I put my car up on jack stands today. Turns out my 20 x 9's fit up front fairly well. There's less than a pinky fingers width between the inner tire and lower shock mount. Looks damn good, though. I WANT ME SOME 9" WIDE RIMS AND TIRES NOW!

And I found my upper right endlink not completely tight. I think the nut itself is stripped since I couldn't loosen or tighten it. I'm going to have to go at it with an impact wrench and see if it'll catch.

Took off the engine cover today. Apparently I left the LED lights on for about 4 or 5 days. They were still on....but could barely even be seen in the dark. So, I went out and ordered 4 more strips of white LED's that I'm going to install tomorrow afternoon....see if I can get this bad boy all back together and lit up.

I was gonna do a post about that. The oddest thing. Especially when I'm washing it. There was a dragonfly buzzing around looking lonely and making 'eyes' at the car today. At least I'm not the only one who has noticed the bug attraction to the yellow.

Otherwise, washed it for the 3rd time today in the last 7 days, polished the tires, drove it uptown a few blocks to rent a movie and get some snacks with the kiddos.

Did the fuse pull last night, put them back in thr morning. Washed and waxed it then went to a car meet, mostly mustangs lol. Feels so much faster and more responsive after the fuse pull. That's all for today.
