I used the POR-15 paint. It was very easy to use. I made sure the calipers were very clean (wire brush and brake clean) and applied the paint in thin coats. If I got too heavy with the paint, it would drip. They have a great, glossy finish when dried. Very inexpensive aesthetic upgrade.

It’s great. Most times I’ve sprayed painted my calipers in the past and that’s the fastest application with a good look. Down fall is chipping/peeling color fade much faster...touch up more often etc.

G2 I can’t tell will take a nice beating and is very durable to the weather elements. The application process is slow.

Por-15 is another really good product I’ve been using for about 10 yrs now. Look up the starter kits they sale. You can purchase from eBay for about $20 buck and will be enough for a brake job no problem. I have the frame of my cutlass done in por-15 and some ppl thought I did a frame of... powder coated.

Yours look great! im really looking forward to doing mine. I have black wheels now so I really want that red POP behind them. The only issue I have is that currently my calipers are plasti dipped purple and I guess from the heat, they aint peeling lol. Ill have to use something to dissolve it and then clean em real good before starting with the G2 kit

I love POR-15. I have an 86 Recaro Trans am. Very low mileage, and all original minus an exhaust. I did the underside a few years ago to prevent any rust and whatnot. It still looks brand new under there

Any drone?

Mine has an area under 2k that drones like crazy!

But it still sounds good otherwise.

Installed Sequencial Tail Lights

I installed the Technostalgia tail lights yesterday. Took me a couple of hours more than predicted but that was in part due to dropping a 10 mm socket down a hole under the lights. Had to try and get it out, and then go to Ace to get a replacement. I also put blacked out bezels on while I had them off. Install went better when I reviewed the forum on the installs others had done. They (Technostalgia) are good at hiding the power connectors inside the lenses.

Despite the time and trouble it took the effects are amazing. A wash, wax and polish won’t go wrong this afternoon.

Did you notice a difference with the new gears? Looking into this as my next mod.

-Eaton Truetrack (OEM clutch type was pretty much done for)
-Pegasus cradle solids
-Yukon 4.11 (not much of a change to the 3.91, but we were in there anyway...)
-LPW Diff cover
-BMR poly/delrin diff bushings

I'm too lazy, got a great local shop, Johnson Automotive in Manchaca (Austin)
