That is sooooo cool. I wish I could do my own work like that and that I could get some more performance mods done. I bet that thing is going to be a monster now.

I'm very impressed by anybody that does their own work these days! Kudos Vince!

(I put headders on my '69, and it was a bea-otch!)

Have fun and good luck!

Has any one seen the AAC LED replacement side markers? Any idea why they're so flippin' expensive?

Because that's what people will pay. Someday I plan to experiment with making my own. (Leds are cheap if you buy them direct from (shudder) China.) But I have too many projects going right now...

Looks great StentS! I'm jealous, want to keep my warranty though. I ordered a Heritage grill yesterday and am going to pull the trigger on some Borla Touring axle backs soon. Warranty safe, hehe.

CAI, Inc. install pics..........

Well, everything went on just as advertised and I'd give to fit and finish. I'm sure glad I read more than once to BE CAREFUL with that lid! It's a press and 1/4 turn to seat the screws and that dang screw driver will slip and scratch the top every time. Sure enough, mine slipped BUT, I had a small rag wrapped around the screw driver and was able to avoid the scratching.
Coupled with my new Borla S type axleback exhaust, she sounds like an awakened monster when you get on it! The wooosshh intake sound is really cool, but what really makes me grin is the noted acceleration crispness/response!

Big time modder...........

My hat's off to you Vince! You most definitely have taken this mod addiction to the upper level. Not many wrenchers out here can do what you're accomplishing! If you haven't already, I know you'll be getting lots of questions from guys/gals as you progress through the various stages of creating your MONSTER!

The AAC sidemarkers are about 400 painted to match the car. I have the Showstopper ones on my car and I love them. They were a little less money and to me they look better because the leds are on the body line. It's a 10 minute install. The back ones are difficult because you have to get your hand up past the muffler to pop them loose. If you have aftermarket mufflers or a muffler delete it's easy.

CCbusa09 - Great looking mods - especially the headers.

HotRodSally, I've seen the price of those LED side lights on the AAC website. I can't imagine why they should cost so much - must be made outta platinum.

I just got back from a cruise into central Utah. We had 15 5th Gen Camaros, 1 Dodge Challenger (he wanted to hang out with the cool people and cool cars), and a 2000ish Pontiac Firebird....... Lightning was rode hard and put away wet.

Mylo... I think it fits! Very cute!!

So, no trophy for Ladybug today, but Tim (Farthestnorth) won TWO trophys, and they were completely deserved! He has such a sweet ride... I won the raffle, though - got a sun shade for the windshield, a gas can, and a trunk organizer! I also won a really good sunburn. Ouch.
It was a fun day!!

He did quite well, but then we had a mixed group - V6's and V8's. We don't try to exceed the speed limit by too much. Don't want to attract the :police:.

Good evening all had a busy day today. Repaired a broken board in my harwooed floor, mowed the lawn and replaced some dead grass from when my sprinkler head broke, got the winter covers off the swimming pool, washed the Camaro and installed my LED DRL's and wiring harness so they will stay on with the Halos.

Here are some pictures the first one shows the difference between the stock bulbs and the LED's and the second shows the finished product. I love the new look I have been wanting to ditch the stock bulbs since I bought the car.
