18 years ago, when we first bought our house, I hadn't driven down the road beyond it yet. Our first weekend here, I was awakened by the unmistakable sound of radial engines. Little did I know at the time, we had moved in next door to an airpark (an airport with houses). I would have bought the house on that point alone! Every year they have a big fly-in and car show on the day before Mothers Day. I got some pics there this past Saturday, and I thought in honor of the return of Skyman, I'd post just a few...


What an awesome bike, oh and some nice Stearmans too. (Yeah, that's my bike.)


My kind of neighborhood.


Some people have a trampoline or a pool in their backyard.










I wish my front yard looked like this.



Did you ever take a picture and not realize what you had until you looked at it later..?

How do I caption this one?:
Gives a whole new meaning to the name "Cub"...
What to do when you are too short to hand prop your own plane...
It's hard to yell "CONTACT" when you have a pacifier in your mouth...
You must be at least this tall to fly this aircraft...
I thought you were Pilot In Command?!.
Was there a FAR change that nobody told me about?..

Yes would not do an outside outlet much less a pool without GFCI

You know I was that little boy in a neighbors PiperCub Getting goosebumps thinking about it. Thing wouldn't get off the ground now
