If you are going to whore the intake just post 30 pics of it, no need to shove it in our face with a DIY install. Showoff!

Done! And Killer jobs, one of my favorites. Quote:
![]() Speedway. That set-up would look killer in your engine bay! Keep in mind when we got it, it had a rough finish but nothing a little red Scotch-Brit didn't take care off. Quick update: Got give props to Seth as he took on a project today that probably eliminated at least 10 more lbs. I will take and post pictures in the next few days. Also, Justin came up with a great idea on where to mount the ABS block. It's going to be killer and fit the industrial theme perfectly. Wait till you guys see it. Stay tuned. |

awesome thanks. i found this: http://www.burnsstainless.com/lb-200-30-16-6061.aspx
i guess what i really meant to ask is what size OD pipe did you use? im going with an aftermarket oil cooler so ill be deleting the factory cooler and ill need to make a new upper rad hose. ive used tubing before and it always looks more custom than just an old rubber hose! |

I went 19 row because SSSoon tried a 25 row and about an inch was behind the bumper brace and not getting airflow anyways. So 19 should package easier and maximize airflow/cooling. I've been considering a real oil temp gauge while I have it all apart since I won't want to pull the headers again to wire it into the Improved Racing adapter. But that would kind of spoil my 100% stock look unless I devise a means of hiding it behind the dash when not in use. Or do a wild figure it out non full sweep gauge that gets somehow crammed into the 4-pack gauge cluster with a custom face. I have a few months to stew on it and I'm too far away to rip things apart in curiosity. So I shall stew on it...

You could go larger mounting above the brace but I didn't want to place it there and block even more radiator. I doubt I will ever run slicks due to budget so I think the engine will be ok with this much cooling. And anything is better than the stock oil heater, I mean cooler.
