Yesterday we had a storm blow through with 60+ gusts but it didnt last long

It's been blowing and gusting since midday and it hasn't really let up. The temps are warm maybe mid 80s but the wind just makes it unpleasant.

Have a great everning, time to roll to the sack.

Gas bills - EEEK! While the rest of the country has seen fuel prices go down, they continue to rise in the west. Went up 27 cents per gallon in the past couple of weeks. Premium was $2.54 yesterday. I'm driving Ladybug more and more since my SUV gets a whopping 12mpg...
I have today off to go to the doctor. It's always fun, since he's a car guy. I park Ladybug by the back door so my doc can step out and watch me drive away after my appointment. Permagrin doesn't even begin to describe the look on his face. After that, Ladybug is getting an oil change, and having one of the DRLs replaced - burnt out before 10k miles... I don't know if it's good or bad, but I've noticed I've had a lot more stuff fixed under warranty on Ladybug than I ever have on other brand new vehicles. All my other cars have waited until the day after the warranty expires to have anything go wrong. Maybe it's because I pay more attention to the little things on Ladybug...
At any rate, hanging out at the dealership is always fun. I love all the sales and service guys there. Gary can agree - we both bought at a great dealership (free oil changes for life, provided you attended the free pancake breakfast to get registered for that ) And it seems like everytime I'm there, they are having a BBQ. Wonder what's for lunch today?

3 WEEKS TIL WCOFF!!!!!

Well let's see, I probably won't drive the Camaro til next Friday when I have off gas may go up or down, and no doctor appt til July.

Nothing has been down under warranty so far , only 6200 miles. The dealer said we would get invitations for get together s at the dealer, that has never happened. The salesman is still driving my 1995 Cavalier LS convertible and it looks kind of crappy. He takes it through the automatic car wash.
I am working 1400-2300 and on call til next Friday. :(

Nice to see you in this thread, Sanddemon! You already know I've taken some issue with disrespectful people lately.... The ladies and the old farts are the only ones in here that are ALWAYS nice, and have no drama. We've got nothin' but love here...

My warranty work hasn't been significant - spoiler came loose, leather clips under the driver seat (twice), steering wheel had to be replaced because the leather got scratched when they took the seat out to fix the clip, now the DRL. But, other than a gas tank recall on my Explorer back in '94 (or, should I say Exploder... well, fixing the gas tank prevented that), I've never had warranty work. But I have had all of them start to nickel and dime me to death right after the warranty expired. So, I guess getting work done under warranty is a good thing.

I noticed that, too! I think it's because we are all grown up enough to know how to be nice to each other. It's a nice change from many of the other threads....

That's funny I have names for certain cars Explorer = Exploder, Expedition = Exhibition, Escalade= Escapade, Prius= Precious and some other will come to mind.

First Start

First start up still on the wheel cribs. It threw a code so I shut it down and fixed the code. Sounds a lot better in person... and a lot louder...

To the WCOFF crew.................within walking distance of your Blue Lake Inn is a Starbucks with outside seating. It's located really close to the gondola. Might be a good place for initial meet and greet Saturday morning? Just a thought.
