When I map that it shows two routes. Do you make the circle? It shows the scenic appearing I-26 only ~15 minutes longer than I-65.

Mickey Thompson SC-5, black w/polished lip, 20x10.5r 20x9 f...i also got a smoking deal on a set of Nitto Motivo 315/35/20....275/40/20 also installed my ZL1 grill (ill get pics of that once i get her cleaned up. Its amazing on how much something as minor as a grill change can completely change the appearance of the car. It looks much more "updated". sorry for the rotated pic...cant figure out how to fix them..

Hooked the battery back up and fired her up for the first time this year. Going to wipe it down this weekend and hopefully get her out next week if the rain will stay away. Anxious to see how the new powerstop brake pads feel.

On the 700+ mile trip down, we counted exactly FOUR 5th or 6th Gen Camaro's the entire trip...on our way back, just North of Madisonville, KY we spotted 6 in a 10 mile stretch!!! Only saw 1 other Aqua Blue Metallic both coming and going. Ours is just an LT but, man it drove like a dream...especially thru the mountainous stretches North of Chattanooga. You guys that do all of the extra things to yours (especially you SS guys) have to be having a BLAST driving yours!!! |

K, man... these cars rock!
This car feels amazing... early 6am traffic down the 91 to the 15 to the 10... came up to the typical car wash bay for a quick spray down. Don't use the brush!!! But spray downs gets the 4 day dirt and dust off... can't keep this thing clean in Riverside!! Anyway... not the wash I want but good enough to get me through the day. Work. Another day... but the Camaro is sitting outside today. Come back to my ride after another haul, turn it on... and, heaven! Vrooom... blup blup blup blup blup blup.. lol. Alright... put on the shades, pop open the sunroof... put it in reverse, back out...pull it in 2nd so I don't shake the buildings... because people are working. On my way out the cul-de-sac, on the road again...I pull up to watering hole for some gas, then hop on I-10 for the ride out. 1st, 2nd, 3rd... its a beautiful thing. The exhaust blaring, the light-on-its-feet feel up the onramp, the quick throttle response, even in low gear! The amazing steering response this thing has grown into, haha, just ...nice... Man, almost 10yrs now still love driving it! Still puts that grin on! Still gets so many looks... I can feel them! I look over lol... its ridiculous how much attention this thing gets in every day traffic. The awesome sounding exhaust on these cars is unreal and draws a lot of attention. As I'm on I-15... I'm thinking, this thing sounds NOTHING like them Mustangs, 5.0's etc etc whatever year... this thing sounds unique! No I'm not talking about the exhaust... I'm talking about the engine in general. The exhaust amplifies or inhibits its tone note, in all our cars... but that growl these LS3's or L99 echo with real freaking power! Not to bring anyone's ride down, but to me - compared to my LS3, Mustangs sound like they're more trying to make noise than for the power to speak for itself... if ya catch me. Anyway, I got it waxed a couple of weeks ago and that hood and body still look amazing.... um, but I'm rambling just thinking about the thrill of the ride, in front of my pc lol What did I do..... I drove it to work today. |
