You are braver than me getting a tune and other work. I worry about possible warranty problems as I don't have a solid relationship with my dealer's service dept.

I've been waiting for the weather to get better before installing the shifter. Tomorrow is looking like it might be ok weather day to do the install. I'm also working on determining what I want to get done before C5Fest.

I have a pretty good relationship with the guys at my dealer. They build a lot of high HP Corvettes and still warranty them. I spoke to them prior to even getting the car. Plus, i am not doing anything major. The car has 6500 perfect miles on it. If something were to go bad with the engine, it would have happened by now. I am not too worried...

Nope... I am waiting untill C5 fest to take in all the different sounds and pick what setup sounds best. With all the people going and all the options, i will keep my ears open and taking notes. Exhaust is VERY expensive to get something you don't like.

Exhaust and CAI will probably come next winter while the car is down for the season. As far as headers, not sure, there is the wild card... headers and a nre cam but that will be the last thing i do, that and a new pulley.

Lets put it this way, the naked eye will never see a difference. The most intune ear will not pic it up.


And you aren't going to be able to sleep tonight anyhow... tomorrow is your BIG DAY!
