Yes I am wondering the same thing? Hopefully the CAI for the Z/28 will fit our LFX...? I am assuming since it has not been released yet, we will not know officially if it will, or if GM might make a conversion kit?

I really want a CAI, but I am afraid it will void my warranty, even though people say it won't. No offense, but I worry if I took a case to arbitration, the Camaro5 forum and what aftermarket producers say will not hold in the court of law.

I hope they make an adapter kit (a new plastic hard line and connectors) that will make the Z28 CAI work with the 1LE clean side oil separator.

Just use plain logic here, and it will hold in a court of law, unless something with your courtroom law and system is way off..

If say, the mass air sensor stops functioning properly, yeah sure, an aftermarket CAI can easily be blamed.

If your alternator stops functioning, they cannot blame the CAI...your warranty stays intact, they will pay for the alternator.

My point is, there is a major generalization on here, whether its intentional or unintentional, almost a misconception, that warranty is voided period. It is not. They must first prove that the aftermarket part was directly responsible for whatever it is that broke.

This ain't rocket science, but sadly, the dealer knows who to push, and I can tell you right now I ain't one of them, and the ones who know me well, know it. A cam affecting a blown valve is one thing, a CAI affecting a rear main seal leak is not.

Choose your mods accordingly, it's your call really.

I am still scratching my head as to why you cannot buy the emblems but you can buy the body pieces.

Replacing the 69 Z/28 emblems on my 2001 Z/28 with the new Z/28 emblems. I have been running them for 10 years time for a change
