May 1 Meet

I see only three attendees on the May 1 'Cars & Coffee' event. I will attend. It is a good excuse to clean my Camaro tonight. Should be interesting to see those shabby Lambos and Ferraris!

You guys have fun. I'm sure the coffee and machinery will be excellent, but I don't think I'll drag myself out of Hamilton County at the crack of dawn to participate in this one!

Next time!

OK Dudes.......
Just an update to all who missed the Cars and Coffee meet.
It was a Great Time!!!

Myself and 304hp? Attended the Corvette Show today at Reeder Chevrolet in Knoxville which was put on by East Tennessee Corvette Club. It had an AWESOME turnout and some great cars showed up.
We also have had some lengthy conversations with the officers of the Corvette club and with the management of Reeder Chevrolet.

We have some VERY EXCITING things in the works for the future!!!!!

Also we now have an official web domain, Thanx once again to KnoxCamaro5 for bailing our Asses out!!!!!

The website is still under construction but feel free to check it out.
It was just registered under tennesseevalleygen5camaro.com and tennesseecamaro.com. Both of these addresses will automatically link to tvgen5camaro.com.

Now that we have our Official Name, Club Logo and WOW!!! a website........it is time to press on!!!
We are working on becoming licensed as a Non-Profit Organization and are also working on getting Club Banners and Business Cards.

The "Exciting Things" I am talking about will be discussed at our next meeting.

Speaking of meetings.....A vote was taken at the "Cars and Coffee" meeting and our next meeting is tentatively planned for:

Saturday June 5th at 6:30 PM

We decided to Return to:

Hooters- Maryville/ Alcoa Location
1094 Hunters Crossing Drive
Alcoa, TN. 37701

We are gonna block off the front parking lot again near the front porch. Last time we got a GREAT response with this and Hooters management was really willing to accommodate us.

Please make sure and sign up if you plan on attending

Last Meet

Hey guy, just to let you know we are going to start a new club under the Social Group section here soon. As you all know the club's name will be Tennessee Valley Gen 5 Camaro. The reason, everything can be edited in the old club except for the clubs name. So I'm going to send all the members a reminder to sign up under the new club and the old club will be terminated. The new club name is official and will not be change so this should be the last Social Club. Like Mr. brownstone mentioned earlier great things are happening and if you wanna be part of the decision process make sure you can make it to all the meets. Next meet we will talk about where we are in the process of getting licensed as a Non-Profit Organization and a ALL Generation Camaro Auto Show that will help us to start raising money.
But the most exciting part is that Knox Camaro 5 wife has put a website together for us, is still in the works but it's a big step forward in to making this club a great one.

Thanks to all

Tennessee Valley Gen5 Camaro on Facebook!

Tennessee Valley Gen5 Camaro can now be found in Facebook! This doesn't replace our social group here on Camaro5.com. Our Facebook presence is just another way to get the word out about our club and promote membership. I will try to keep the website and Facebook page updated.
