Id like to say thanks in advance to those responsible for putting this together. It will be great to have fellow enthusiasts to talk too, and get some photos of each others cars. I'm looking forward to meeting you guys.

Might be good to do this every other month or something if people are interested...maybe a Pensacola rally next time for those that live out that way.

Emerald Coast Parkway is also known as Highway 98. Coming from Pensacola (whether you take 98 E straight over or take I10 E and come south to 98) when you see the Destin Commons (a big outdoor mall-with a Bass Pro Shop and a Hard Rock Cafe w/the big neon Guitar) on the north side of 98, you will also see the Olive Garden, Sonic, Best Buy, and PetSmart shopping center on the south side of 98.
O'Quig's is behind the Olive Garden on the south side of 98.
Parking lot will be marked off for our vehicles.

11:00 a.m.
Let’s get inside and order our food.
With large parties it always takes a while for the kitchen to keep up. Let’s get inside, get to our tables and get our orders placed before the big Saturday football crowd comes in and floods the kitchen with their orders. The back room is reserved for us.

Drivers, please be sure you sign in on the clipboard.
One per car please. You’ll see why….

12:30 p.m.
Overhead Car Picture.
Destin Fire Department will arrive to give us aid in taking pictures of our entire group of vehicles.
We do not have to all be outside for this, so if you are not finished eating, you won’t be missing anything but the big ladder truck.

~1:00 p.m.
Cruise- Safety First- Watch out for Motorcycles!!

This is the Florida State Hog Rally Weekend.
(And Destin traffic can be a *%#c^ on any day.)
Heading east on old 98 to 98/Winn Dixie parking lot. Turn around and head west back toward O'Quigley's. We will turn right onto Hutchinson Street and turn left out on 98 headed west. We will need to stay bunched up with several locals mid-pack in case we get separated to lead the way back to the lead pack. Route is pretty straight forward, just dealing with stop signs and redlights.

Here’s where the plans have changed…
We will be turning north onto Main Street and will turn left into the Old Tyme Pottery shopping center parking lot. We will wait on anyone caught by the light and assemble our vehicles. We will then ride in as a group and park for assemblage at Phil’s Pub and Grub.

The organizers of MotorFest 2010, some of you know it as Cruising the Emerald Coast, have invited us to join them for some car buff fellowship at Phil’s.
There will be a “Car Show and Shine”, live music, and a car raffle.
If you would like to enter, you are welcome to upon arrival.

If any of you would like to ride out to OkaloosaIsland to get pictures with the sand and water in the background we can cruise on from there ending at the park on the bay side. (Should be able to get some good pictures with the bay in the background.)

MotorFest has also invited us to HarborWalkVillage beginning at 5:30 p.m. and rocking into the night with “The Guess Who” band.

Everyone, be safe. With so many vehicles in town, the Sheriff’s Dept., the State Troopers, and any security will be on their toes. So keep a check on your speed, an eye out for careless drivers, and watch for the hogs.

It’s gonna be a great weekend!!

The computer in the Transmission is acting up and they are tring very hard to get it right. We'll see tomorrow if she goes or not.
