First drive pt 1 we have boost. Had clutch slippage going into 3rd. It's never done that before. I'm guessing the stock clutch which only has 10k miles on it ain't gonna cut it. I ran it hard last Sat vs a Benz and shifted nice and firm into 3rd and it didn't do that.

I guess the silver lining is my motor just might be making more power....just a hunch I have.

Frist drive pt 2 Oops the wind is pushing the fender wheel wells against the tires.

Congrats!!! Get the can installed!!! The noise you here sounds about right.....the vortech is NOT a quiet head unit., but double check oil level and make sure the vent was swapped in to the unit (came in bag attaced to unit).

Yep... remember very well, when Scott started my Vortech powered car the first time... I was like "WTF, does it have a bad bearing already?" LOL

Congrats six! Bummer about the liners. My hubby did that same thing when doing something to his Evo 8, though not as bad as yours. Luckily, taking off and re-installing the front clip isn't to bad on our cars. The Evo is a major pain in comparison.

Good luck with the rest of your list. Glad it is moving forward. You get used to the noise of the SC pretty quick. Have a good time!

Haha I know what you mean. About a week after I got it installed I took it over to a family friends house who is a retired mechanical engineer who works on older cars now. When I started it up and had it running he asked "what the heck is that sound? Sounds like a bearing."
