impulse buy + buyers remorse = want a different car. nothing new.. pretty typical of most people today.. --- now I myself bought my camaro on an impulse sort of.. I wanted one in 2010, but having owned a few first model year cars I decided to take the safe bet and buy a truck until I either found something else I wanted or felt comfortable about the Camaro. I did a ton of research on the Camaro between 2010 and 2012, trolled many forums for problems and owner complaints.. then when a sweet deal on a 2012 left over fell into my lap I took it on impulse. it is what it is.. if it isn't the car he wants he will sell and get what he wants, then realize that one doesn't fit the bill either, and so on and so forth. I have two friends that are pretty much the same, they have had 7 or more cars since 2005 because they impulse buy and get bored with them very quickly. Though personally there is no way in hell I would ever buy a Viper or 911 used, next to Mustangs they are probably to two most abused by over vehicles on the road. but to each their own..

If there was ever a way to completely butcher the English language, there it is. I have no idea what you are saying. It's obvious you are not even slightly educated, so your post should just be deleted.
Nobody has anything interesting to say anymore. It's all 'just go' because they know the problems exist. Nobody is fighting it. If you did, you would be retarded. Look in the problem section of this forum. All the issues are there....except the baby head shift knob. Yes, I test drove the car before buying. You look at these things and say "Huh. Old buyer just didn't care for it." Then, you get in and find out...they really did. To show you how much they cared for it, I got stock parts in a box. There was also a note saying he couldn't afford it any longer, and a list of receipts for oil changes. This was in the glove box. He always used Mobile 1 full synthetic. Well, nobody has anything else constructive to say, and the problems I stated are out there. I am planning on painting the car and replacing the shift knob. I'm upset that I have to, but I will probably keep the car for the SOLE reason it has a 5 year 100k on it. I have used it multiple times already with good results. I just hate being without a car while they fix issues a 33k mile car shouldn't be having. I researched 911s a little further. The year I want...has issues. No recalls, but it is just divided straight down the middle. Either people have tons of issues, or people drive 200k miles without a single one. I think there was a good point of finding a used car for the price with the camaro's features. There is only one I can not replace. That warranty. It's a big point too, since I will not mod the car anymore than the intake and flowmasters it has on it now. I am not even replacing the skip shift, as this voids it. I never said it is a horrible car. I said it has lots of small problems that are just annoying. We'll see how it goes after I get a paint job slapped on it, and possibly a Hennesey shift knob. I'll still go drive the 911 this weekend and see how that goes as well. Just don't know right now. Also, for the 'impluse' this is my third car in eight years. I loved my Caliber SRT4 so much, I had it four years. I traded that...for this. It was fast, loved it, and absolutely....no aftermarket support except one shop, who price gouged. Then, Dodge decided not only to stop making the car, but stopped making the parts as well. When someone in our car club burnt a clutch, it was a NINE MONTH waiting period for another one. I just got a clutch for a Caliber, since I just ordered one for spare. If your motor went, you were done. No more. SO, on that note alone, I got rid of it, fearing I would be stuck with it in the shop for months, just waiting on parts to be made for it....literally.

I took my car through a rain of gravel that came off a gravel truck and yes it got chipped to hell. Went and talked to my insurance company and they said no problem, go get it repainted.
Asked them if since I am getting it repainted, likely 90% of the car, could I get a new hood and spoiler (on my dime) and get them painted at the same time, they said get an estimate and we will see what happens. Well, the body shop said that because of the Red Jewell Tintcoat, they would feel better repainting the entire car, plus if they were going to offer their lifetime warrantee on the paint job, they required repainting the entire car. They submitted a claim and my insurance approved it. Cost me a few grand for parts and installation on my dime but the new paint is simply amazing. Had them go a couple shades darker then Red Jewel Tintcoat and had them do custom SS stripes from front to over the top of the spoiler and enough clear coat to make it look like you could jump into the paint. Was it worth it, HELL YA. This is my dream car, not going to let a little cheap paint ruin anything for me. If your that unhappy with the car, sell it and try something else and see if it makes you happy. BE careful though, the stangs ride pretty rough and the mopars are heavy as hell. Not sure much of anything out there will make you happy. Good luck.

Not sure I follow you.
Lethal been consistently getting right at or nearly 500 with just the cam package on LS3 cars. With new heads like I'm doing should be well into the low 500s. Why would that be a bad thing? FI is great and will have it next year I'm sure but even FI needs a good platform and NF cam and heads is a perfect place to start. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2

2.) No, it's not. Many others have reported the same thing, search the forum. 3.) I understand that temperature can affect readouts due to cold/hot weather. I also know that when it's 76 degrees out and a manual pressure meter reads 36PSI and the digital reads almost 40PSI, something is amiss. 4.) I know. 5.) Other similar 'affordable' sports cars have better FOV. I'm just saying the seats could be angled a bit better to provide better viewing. Not a major complaint on my end. |

Ill agree with on some parts..
our 2011 convertiable SS does feel slow.. as a matter of face it might be up sale soon, Ive driven it twice, the wife once and my dad has taken it for a spin.. all said the same thing. just wasnt impressive. So after a year and 9 month, it has 303 miles on it. I also have a random dent in the drivers door. Its not a door ding as the car has never seen a parking lot. Only thing i can think of is the crew that clean layed a broom or mop on the door.. As for the pain all Gm cars have ok paint. If it flaking that bad maybe gm will cover it by warranty. We have been driving GM stuff for ever and i will admit the paint is not what it use to be.. I have a 01 sububran that has had a hard life, Tree pinstriping all over it... But the paint doesnt scratch that easy.. When i do get the sractches it from thick stuff, and sounds like fingers nails on a chalk board. Now my wifes 2011 denali is also black, and it scratches way easier.. Its never left the road but has scratches. also ever time you wash it, either by hand or car wash it gets the wash marks.. Ive used every brand of wax there is and it still happens. Ive had black cars for 15 years and never seen anything like this.. You can do can ever do all the steps of a full detail, it will be freaking beautiful until it rains. Its almost like they put a "coating" on it from the factory... anyway back on the rock chip issue. My impala SS had a few rock chips and then it started pealing off. Gm painted the hood on it under warranty.. As for the viper, yes they are awesome cars, but the insides are total junk.. My close friend has had them since they came out.. the 02 ish body style is ok, but the inside falls apart.. he traded it on a new body style and it to is cheap.. after a few years nothing fits, dash vents, door pannels etc.. |

or you can google and find even more. on more than 1 dyno might I add so it's not some badly calibrated dyno. Phastek did a Lethal car on theirs and Matt from FSP tuned it and ity was right at 500. the last 4 lethal LS3s to come through there all made right at 500. and I started another thread quoting you so you may want to pop in over there and defend yourself ![]() btw here are a few Lethal Dyno slips.. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=277064

Dude be realistic , maybe there is a snowball chance in hell you'll get close to 500 on a confused dyno but rest to sure real numbers you will never see higher then 480's to the wheels with your magical fairy dust package!! Just cause lethal is claiming it and posting there one dyno, doesn't mean a thing to me..It's called sales marketing...Lets see someone else's dyno..
