That's exactly what i wanted to see, satin black against gloss black. I must admit it looks better than I would have guessed, I think those last pics made up my mind, I'm in!

Be aware that mine didn't come with any mounting hardware, I used the parts list from the "official" SLP instructions on what to buy. I think it cost me about $15 or so (I bought stainless hardware). For the very front two bolts, I couldn't reach in there to get the nut on the back of it. The instructions say to pull down quite a bit, but I didn't want to break anything (and I was in the driveway on jack stands), so I used some wall anchors just for those 2. They seem pretty secure. Got my $125 eBay SLP style splitter in yesterday and I am happy with the quality. Id buy another one if something ever happened to car.
Also, it came with bolts but Im going to go out and get different ones. Just personal preference no issues with them. |

Yeah just make sure you get some stainless steel hardware like clarkkent had mentioned, don't want the bolts rusting off on ya.

But the bullet
Welp, pulled the trigger and installed this splitter yesterday, I like it quite a bit, but I wish it came out a bit further so I could get some tie rods on it. I just really like that look, very aggressive. That said, for the price (paid $85 shipped Amazon prime) it's really hard to beat and looks way better than stock without.

I have the real slp splitter on my car, and after some unbelievably steep driveways, it doesn't look as good as it used to. Does anyone know if the mounting holes for this are the same as the real one?

I ordered this same one and installed. Looks good, but there is a bit of warping, kinda bothersome. Can't complain for the price tho

Hi guys I have a question on this install. On the SLP instructions it says "Remove the 2 outermost lower fascia guard fasteners on each side of the vehicle then using 2 of the fasteners you just removed, install them into the ends of the front
splitter without the fascia guard in place." SO are we assuming the splitter comes with holes on the ends that the fasteners can go through?? Im assuming these holes are separate from the other 10 holes where the bolts go through??

New SLP Style Splitter Install (cheap)
I don't recall if those 2 holes were there or I drilled them. Either way I'm not currently using them. I have plenty of bolts in it so I don't have to worry about those 2 on the ends. And the "fascia guard" is long gone from mine.

See if I can upload the PDF for the install instructions.
FYI buy "fender washers" for the install, if it is a little warped use a heat gun on it. BTW these are $107 with free shipping on Ebay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/30630168006...Bk9SR4zc8PWuZg
