I was just looking at your poll results and they're pretty interesting...

Of 40 total responses, 19 (nearly half) are 1LEs, throw in 7 ZL1s and you've got 65% ordering a high end specialty version. Only 10 are (apparently lowly) SS V8s. I'm beginning to feel under gunned here!

PM update: "Per GM, the car probably won't even be unloaded until tomorrow. It could still be "several days" before we get it." [My dealer is two hours from the depot]

Re: Skip Shift and Hill Start Assist, "we cannot alter the programming of the car".

Thursday forecast: 70 and sunny

Salesman just called me. Car hasn't even left the factory yet. Built on 3/17, purcashed 3/29. He said the factory told him to call back in a couple days.

Just sayin'....don't get all excited just because you catch a train. Cause there's still a whole lot of fumbling around after that. Tomorrow will be one week since my car left the plant and we're not really that far away.

Enjoy! Wish I had more time to drive it this weekend but only managed 70 miles. You're gonna love it!

Mine sits at my dealership. You would think I would be excited. However, I ordered a few extras that the dealer has to install; center console lid (on order, yet to arrive); upgraded audio pkg (apparently they have this); and my 20" machine-face wheels (on order, yet to arrive).

My question, why am I waiting for these things. I ordered my car and they had plenty of time to get them BEFORE the car arrived, right?

I just drove her back 85 miles with the top down and I could't stop smiling. The engine responded beautifully. Now its time for a good wash and the mods.

Remember the John Lennon song, "Happiness is a warm gun..."

Apply that melody to, "Happiness, is a brown truck..."

I think these will look pretty good on my SW Vert. Thanks for your help Rudy!

I think I've now set the record fir mods purchased before delivery.
