Here is my recent one from IPS Motorsports after my cam went in. This is with a maggie (3.6" pulley), headers, intake, torque converter and Livernois Stage 2B cam. This is on a loaded Mustang dyno.
552 RWHP and 509 torque with the exhaust cutouts open (Run 1). (Run 2 is with the cutouts closed.)

Here's mine from a couple days ago. 350 rwhp, 354 tq. Mods in sig. No base run was done, but for comparison Davenport used an average of dozens of Camaros they have dyno'd (312.36 hp, 316.65 tq).
Can anyone explain SAE correction again for me? It is listed at 1.13. Does this mean that the 350 has already been corrected and therefore started at 310? or to compare apples to apples the 350 would be multiplied by 1.13 to come to 396? And whose apples are we comparing if this is taken into consideration? Would the extra 38 hp worth of mods (exhaust, cai, headers, etc) equate to 47 at the crank (37/.8 for drivetrain loss)? One more question- What does the "Smoothing:3" found in the top right corner mean?

Just for the record, bolt-ons, TC and gears, as in my sig.
12.191 @ 112.89, 7.779 @ 88.66, 1. 653 (catback, CAI, 555R's, Shorties & Midpipes, 3200 TC, 3.45) This was a couple of weeks ago in 98* heat, after a tune by John @ APF. The car ran 12.1 @ 113 before this tune, just waiting on slightly cooler weather to hit the track again. Padre |

I went 12.70@112.3mph in 2800DA the other night with my factory 20's with factory tires. I really would like to run with a set of 18" dr's and a converter.

L99 HP is adding up
After reading through this thread tehre is so many combinations of mods,
so here is what Im thinking of adding , so does this sound accurate? my L99 dyno's baseline 324 rwhp stock, if I add flowmaster Catback exhaust it says to expect +15Hp if I add Vararam Intake it says to expect +20Hp If I add ported Throttle body it says to expect +7Hp (are all of these HP gains crank or rear wheel?) So after all that my L99 should dyno approx. 366 rwhp? Is it that easy?

So, no, if you have dynoed 324, I would not expect 366 rwhp. Headers will certainly get you well over 366. But if you don't want to go that route, I was very happy with the results of my high-flow catted midpipes install (JBA's) - expect a solid 20rwhp from that alone. Padre |

I would skip the ported T/B and save that money for headers. Without them I'd guesstimate 340-350 ish tuned on a dyno. I'd guess 380+ with headers. Padre is right.

high flow catted midpipes?
Hey, Thanks for that info-I knew there had to be more to it.
I think I'll do one of those options you both listed above. But which one? Right now I have Flowmaster 3"cat back installed. I'm wondering... 1. Would the high-flow catted midpipes typically be a more affordable route than headers? Im not sure what high flow catted midpipes even are....is it a street legal? 2. Would either of them jeopordize the warranty? I know headers are really loud, do the mid pipes get just as loud as well? Thanks

Both maintain the O2 sensors and should not throw a code nor require a tune. As long as you do not tune it, your warranty should be OK, plus you should be able to pass emmissions. No exhaust systems are fully "street legal" but you should be OK anywhere but California. ![]() The sound is not as loud as full headers. It will add a nice tone to the exhaust but nothing as loud as your Flowmaster. Padre |
